Thanks for the additional confirmation that smoke was rising prior to the first collapse. I do find it a little odd that there is very little video or photographic coverage of the smoke at the base of the Tower before the collapse.

This video also debunks the claim tha the core remained standing for a while after the collapse of the 2nd tower. If you follow the line of the corner of the building as it collpases, you will see that the part that stood up for a while was a portion of the perimeter columns, not the core.

When I get a chance, I will take some screen captures and mark them up.
