It's an April Fool's joke. The site is online and he gives a brief explanation.
The joke is a commentary in of itself, really.
A brilliant stunt. And I fell for it hook, line and sinker. I totally forgot what day it was.
Thankfully, the day of crushed dissent has not yet dawned in America. But the very fact that a DHS site pull down for PATRIOT Act violations is believable at all is indeed a sad commentary on the state of this Union.
