Bush refuses to say homosexuality is immoral

by John Aravosis (DC) · 4/03/2007 10:35:00 AM ET

So much for the religious right. Bush just demurred when asked about this on TV.

I didn't hear Bush say this, but I only heard part of what he said, and Aravosis usually reports accurately.

I did hear Bush say that he supports Don't Ask Don't Tell as good policy.

To reason, indeed, he was not in the habit of attending. His mode of arguing, if it is to be so called, was one not uncommon among dull and stubborn persons, who are accustomed to be surrounded by their inferiors. He asserted a proposition; and, as often as wiser people ventured respectfully to show that it was erroneous, he asserted it again, in exactly the same words, and conceived that, by doing so, he at once disposed of all objections. - Macaulay, "History of England," Vol. 1, Chapter 6, on James II.

Bush refuses to say homosexuality is immoral

Political expediency trumps Christian morality every time with these guys.

No surprise.

It is not a Justice System. It is just a system.

it appears that bush realizes he will be outed if he comes out strongly against homosexuals.

male prostitutes visiting the whitehouse was my a pretty good confirmation, that and the overly machismo male posturing that bush does, with cowboy hat and arms stuck out from his side.

the hilarious thing is he got the women all a twitter, some of em i mean.

he's a regular rock hudson.

If Bush is afraid of being outed, I wonder why he would publicly say he supports Don't Ask Don't Tell. If he doesn't think homsexuality is immoral, I wonder what he thinks the legal basis of that policy is.

All reports are that Rock Hudson was a very sweet, kindhearted person. That ain't Bush.

if bush has male prostitutes staying at the whitehouse, and was reportedly a homosexual in college, while being married, the guy is living in two worlds.

he's not all there, and on top of that, he's got a massive identity crisis as a gay married straight city dwelling cowboy.

True enough.

BTW, I recall scanning through an article in The New American magazine from several years back (I went through about 13 years worth of magazine--2 a month--) before discarding it where the liar in chief had held a private/secret meeting with homos down in Texas. This did NOT appear to be the meeting he held with the national log cabin queer group.

I did save about 12" tall worth of various articles to re-read/save, and if I find I actually saved that, I will post it--I cannot remember the 'finer' details....not that there were a lot, but I believe the word 'secret' was the operative word.

I'm sure when I read it the very first time, I was thinking 'pandering to evil'. This time around, you could omit 'pandering to' in that last sentence. And it has a lot more meaning now that so much stuff regarding him and how he acts and does.
