April 9, 2007 -- This web site has for some time sensed a certain synergism between so-called left-wing web sites (in reality, gatekeepers) like Daily Kos and Democratic Underground and those on the far right like Little Green Footballs and its grandmaster, FreeRepublic. Our attention has been drawn by our friends at ProgressiveIndependent.com to a concerted campaign by DailyKos and the LittleGreenFootball gremlins to censor writer and cartoonist Ben Heine for his cartoons and writings exposing the Nazi racialist ideology of Israeli politician Avigdor Lieberman. We are happy to provide a link to PI's screen captures of DailyKos that triggered the censorship by the "left" and right web sites.

We can sympathize with those who are banned by phony "progressive" web sites like DailyKos and DU. It appears that the same vested interests that call the shots at FreeRepublic and LittleGreenFootballs also do the same with DailyKos and DU. It can assuredly be said that WMR controls its own content and, although we have received demands that certain information be removed, we have often responded to such requests with a hearty "drop dead," whether the requests come from Saudi billionaire sheiks, U.S. defense contractors who torture prisoners, or Israeli right-wing expansionists. Well, I might as well jump off the cliff into the cold, deep water of this grotto.

Is Democratic Underground an AIPAC Asset?

In recent months, I've wondered if DU is an AIPAC asset. Who is David Allen, and why does he appear to be protecting the president and his administration when it comes to 9-11?

Why is anything that suggests conspiracies shuttled off to the dungeon? Why are what appear to be AIPAC regulars allowed to constantly harass members who don't buy into the AIPAC world view? There are a dozen of what appear to be good Republicans ensconced in the dungeon, free to attack anyone who agrees with the vast majority of Americans, that 9-11 truth has yet to be heard.

Even though the vast majority of DU members believe the government has hidden the truth of 9-11, anyone who pushes that thought is slapped down by David Allen. Who is this pompous tool of the Bush administration? Who is paying him? He certainly doesn't seem concerned that his readership has dropped dramatically in the past 6 months.

Why is he pushing a poll for his readers, a poll that is clearly a psych evaluation of those who take it? Why is he telling people to go take it? Who does this guy really work for? It's not Democrats.

I do not trust David Allen or the manner in which DU is used by him. There are posters who seem to hint at approving illegal acts. Why are such threads - which appear to be fly paper to catch the more outrageous - allowed?

When I look at DU and how it is run, I see an organization that is of questionable purpose and lineage. I don't trust DU, and doubt seriously its purpose is to help Democrats. When only 16% of Americans have said they believe the official story of 9-11, why is it so difficult to talk about that in online communities that are supposed to be political?

I don't understand your comment. What do you mean by "controlled opposition?"

Controlled opposition = deceptively appearing to be opposition when in fact the two sides are confederates working for the same goal.

In that case, I agree.

Karl Rove has been the master of dirty tricks for over 35 years. He never stopped running the Donald Segretti wing of the right.

I agree with the notion that DU and FR are controlled opposition, but the tilt of DU in matters of 9-11 or of AIPAC's agenda seems distinct.

It's no secret that AIPAC is the most feared lobby inside the beltway. Their people are everywhere. You can't attend a fundraiser without running into several of them. They're bright, charming, usually young people, and they're pushing their relationships to yield benefits later. AIPAC has already tied down to its agenda the top three Democratic candidate for president.
