While on my way to lunch this morning, I happened to stumble across a talk show syndicated statewide here in Tennessee on local radio WPWT. The host's name was Steve Gill, and just as I was reaching for the dial to change the station, I heard a called mention Ron Paul. That caught my attention, so I listened further. The caller was inquiring as to why the Congressman's campaign was being overlooked by the mainstream media. Then the caller stepped right on the third rail when he mentioned Zionist control of the media. (BIG 'faux pas'.) The host responded thusly: "It is that kind of anti-Semitism which is why Ron Paul isn't going to be elected President because his supporters are anti-Semitic; many of them; that's why he isn't going to be elected President." I almost ran off the road when I heard this. To verify; I went into the WLAC archives just to make sure I heard it correctly. I just listened to thay segment of the show again, and the above quote is what the host said. Mind you; this same host needs to be reminded to 'wipe his chin' after interviewing Tennessee's choice for the White House, Fred (CFR) Thompson. Apparently; this host didn't learn much from the Imus flap...Don only insulted a basketball team. This ass insulted the voters of Ron Paul's entire Congressional District. Way to go, Steve.

My first thought, as well...they are going to try to hang the nastiest label possible around Congressman Paul's neck before he has any chance to gather momentum. Wonder if Alex Jones would be interested in this???
Perhaps that was a legitimate call to the radio host. Perhaps it was a fairly clever but scurrilous political maneuver to smear Ron Paul.
That thought occured to me, as well...the caller mentioned 'American Free Press' early in the call, which set off an alarm in my head. Perhaps it was a 'set up call' from a Thompson supporter...

i know he wouldn't be surprised.
When they start wheeling that out, they're seeing the GOP crumbling, and they think that Freddy can somehow save them from themselves. So anyone opposing him gets it in the neck. But it was pretty stupid to claim Jews run all the media. They don't. They're over-represented, certainly, but that's largely because their culture pushes people toward careers in the media. Actually, the biggest media barons, like Conrad Black, weren't and aren't Jewish.

2 questions to help me make my judgement about those who re- elected Congressman Ron Paul, M.D. 1. did they promise to send their first born to fight and die in the ME to protect Israel from evil-doers? 2. did they agree to pay for holocaust memorials erected in every public park in their district? If there's a "no" answer to either or both 1 and 2 questions, then they are anti-semites by today's daffy-nitions... see, in the minds of airheads like Mr. Gill, anti-semitic means Ron Paul voters are not sufficiently over-the-top nutty philosemitic.

I've seen denials that Rupert Murdoch is not Jewish, too, but I'm not buying it. It's true, Jews don't own "the media", only about half of it, and the hundreds of billions of Jewish organizations manage to bulldog the rest of it into line.

Not to quibble, but Conrad Black was/is small potatoes media baron as compared to Rupert Murdoch (US/UK/Australia) for example, or the Izzy Asper Family (Canada)or Sumner Redstone ( Viacom). And though Lord Black is RC himself, he has been married since 1992 to a very outspokenly pro-Israel Jewish wife named, Barbara Amiel.
