The purpose of this thread is to applaud our hosts for this place, and what we like about it. One of the things I do not like about modern USA culture is that people do not properly thank others. It's as if they believe they're giving up something to acknowledge that someone else did something nice. Running a site is a royal pain in the ass, and time consuming. It costs something to run, and someone has to pay that. So thank you to the owners, and here's what I like about Freedom4um: 1. No smilies!! I hate those things. I can barely stand to read DU because there are so many people who use them. Why not crayons? 2. No threads calling for government to FIX whatever today's most visible problem is. What are your favorite things about Freedom4um and how it is run?

What do I like about freedom4um? No badeye. No Kossack or DU PC censors. No posting limits (unless you are a known trash talking shill). No censorship (unless you go completely insane like Leveller did, or start out completely insane like BAC). No overriding political agenda. Great moderators.

I don't know who badeye is, and never posted at KOS, but I found that place annoying when I tried to read it. Too many places have rigid pecking orders, and pecking orders produce a lot of peckerheads. I did post at DU for a few months and got booted out. Boy, are they not liberal or libertarian minded! What a gaggle of honking geese! And the DU moderators are suck ass to the max. That dork named The Magistrate is the biggest jackass I've ever seen. He starts shit with people, then deletes their responses to his obnoxious remarks. He's a jackass.
