BOY SCOUTS KILL DOG! ACTION NEEDED: DEMAND INVESTIGATION (Miller County, Arkansas) Two boy scout counselors, 17 year old Clayton Frady and 18 year old David litickabee, the son of Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee, have admitted to catching a stray dog during their summer session at Camp Pioneer in Hatfield, AR, and hanging the dog by his neck, slitting his throat and stoning him to death. Camp officials, who did not report the crime to law enforcement officials, have admitted that the act did occur and have fired the boys from their positions. However, no charges have been filed against the young men. Arkansas State Police conducted a perfunctory investigation, but did not attempt to locate witnesses to the crime. When I was a kid, I remember burning caterpillars by focusing sunlight on them with lenses. We also experimented with flies: we removed their heads to see if they could fly headless, and most of them could. On the other hand, we picked up quite a few baby-birdies fallen from their nests and fed and sheltered them up to the point where they could fly away.

We had a kid in my neighborhood, about 13 or so, who was poisoning the cats and dogs in the neighborhood. Later, he burned down his house with his parents inside (they escaped) and went away to a special school where he could have special food fed to him for his thoughts. I remember rescuing a baby bird that had fallen out of its nest. Its mother wouldn't take it back. I kept climbing up and putting it back in the nest, and the mother would kick it out. It was kinda traumatic for a 6-year-old.

Being the kid of a politician makes you above the law. These punks deserve a very long jail term..as you or I would have gotten since we don't have a daddy who is a PoliticoWhore. Anyone that would do that to an animal [as opposed to an insect] has the capacity to do the same to a human being. In fact, DOGS are better than human beings. GOP politician's sons inflicting cruelty upon animals -- is there a pattern here? First Dubya, the frog exploder (son of Poppy Bush). Now, the dog torturer/killer (son of Mike Huckabee). Is Mike a gay Satanist like Poppy? Did the dog torturer and the frog exploder have similarly warped boyhoods thanks to their father's secret proclivities? I wonder...

The kid next door to me, who is probably in a mental institution today, used to take cicadas, hold them by the wings and tie a firecracker to their body, light the fuse and let them fly off to an airborne explosion and subsequent crash. The reason he's probably incarcerated is that he also used to take cats by the tail, swing them around like a lasso, and at their peak speed, let go of them...right into the side of the house. I told on him but back then nobody gave a shit. Judging by his parents, I'd say insanity was a genetic predisposition. [Probably just one of the reasons I became a cop..to "get back" at jokers like him]

David Huckabee was in the news just the other day: Huckabee son caught with loaded gun. I wonder if the judge who gave him only a one-year suspended sentence was aware of his previous offense. It's probably not a good idea for someone with the younger Huckabee's past history to be allowed to carry a concealed firearm.

Seeing as how there was never any prosecution, much less conviction, it is hard to see that the judge would know anything but a rumor, unless he was present at the boy scout camp 8 years earlier.
