Is it any wonder she doesn't understand government sponsored terrorism, and scoffs at documented, proven conspiracy research??

See post 437 here:

http://libertypost.org/cgi-bin/readart.cgi?ArtNum=185742&Disp=432

Okay.

Here I have to elaborate.

There are many conspiracies, and many issues that are posted here in great detail.

some of them I am conversant in. some I've never heard of. some I'm aware of...but only just barely. Between my job, my home, my healthcare, and my housework...LP gets about 12-15 hours of my time a week. Some weeks more. Some less.

And when I am on LP, most of that time is spent as referee, note taker, poster reviewer, cleanup crew, email responder, issue fixer, or disciplinarian. Only occasionally do I have the luxury like today of actually participating.

So, today was my first exposure to "Northwoods" and the first time I've seen those docs to my knowledge.

My comment on it simply reflected my reaction when I read over the first couple items. Period.

I watched seasons 1, 5 and 6 of X-files. Well... the first half of season 6 but I will be making more progress this coming weekend.

I wanted to read what they had to say...if there was some validity to their claims. Now, I'm totally convinced it's BS. As I believe 99% of everyone else is convinced. So, right now...it's restricted to the Biker Bar.

It's not fair for her to reject something which she clearly doesn't even have a cursory understanding of. How could she have researched our claims and yet not even heard of Northwoods until today?? This goes way beyond intellectual laziness.

She has been coopted, much as RimJob has, and by the same forces to boot. One bad thing about this trend is the effect of increasing the profile of 4UM by isolating it as a source of the truth ever so much more. Eventually these people will make a play of some sort to close 4UM.

I don't know how and when, I just have faith that they will.

the dog ate my homework.

"Inability to accept the mystic experience is more than an intellectual handicap. Lack of awareness of the basic unity of organism and environment is a serious and dangerous hallucination. For in a civilization equipped with immense technological power, the sense of alienation between man and nature leads to the use of technology in a hostile spirit---to the "conquest" of nature instead of intelligent co-operation with nature." -Alan Watts /

The American Reichwing bitches quite a bit about government all the time- but if you pay close attention to their criticism it isn't government as an institution that they find is the problem or the evil- but only that "liberals" are in government. If their precious Federal government were run by the "Right people" then all would be well. And generally- when it comes to the reichwingers- since they think of the police and intelligence agencies and the military as being the "good parts" of government - the "conservative" parts of government- they have been conditioned to believe that cricitism of these instutitions is "left wing" and they rarely can wrap their minds around the concept that these wings of government are the most evil and the biggest threats to liberty.

One of the favorite techniques of members of the mainstream media, when they are asked by a caller on C-SPAN about something they would prefer to ignore, is to act dumb.

To reason, indeed, he was not in the habit of attending. His mode of arguing, if it is to be so called, was one not uncommon among dull and stubborn persons, who are accustomed to be surrounded by their inferiors. He asserted a proposition; and, as often as wiser people ventured respectfully to show that it was erroneous, he asserted it again, in exactly the same words, and conceived that, by doing so, he at once disposed of all objections. - Macaulay, "History of England," Vol. 1, Chapter 6, on James II.

Yes, I've noticed that too. They hate it when the public is so well informed and articulate they threaten to expose their unethical incompetancy.
