In case this was never covered discussed before, I want to elaborate.
Anyone who comes on to this site SPECIFICLY with the INTENT to ridicule, harass, annoy or badger members of this site for their beliefs, political positions, or for their specific views on controversial ANY subject will be removed.
Posting here, is a Free Speech right. Rudeness, and harassment are NOT civil behavior, and are NOT welcome on this site. These actions INHIBIT Free Speech.
Just as one cannot yell "fire" in a theater, there are LIMITS to what is acceptable behavior when discussing news, events and issues.
Creating impossible or extremely narrow conditions then demanding someone to meet them; challenging someone to PROVE a point, are tactics to DISCOURAGE discussion and intimidate others. These tactics are used by bullies, and by Agent Provacateurs. They will not now, and will not EVER be tolerated on a website that encourages debate, free thinking, and original research.
Anyone using these tactics on this site and/or against others will be banned.
Everyone here should be free to express their thoughts on any and every subject without ridicule from anyone...EVER.
What about anti Minuteman sentiment and the other side of the immigrant issue you repressed and removed least it get in the way of making the issue the center piece of your forum?

ESPECIALLY new members. Yesterday 60 NEW members signed up. I want them to be able to speak out and not be ridiculed the first time they try. The very first time I posted on FR, I got flamed so bad...I literally was intimidated from posting for over a month. Goldi-Lox posted on 2007-05-03 13:51:09 ET Think maybe she is paniced because she is getting a refugee rush from Free Republic after JimRob's bug zapper thread eliminated Rudybots? She has been losing traffic. Palo and Mud both yesterday indicated what a bummer the slower posting rate has been.

Very true, good point. She has no good rational for the biker bar banishment of Truth Movement material either. It marginalizes the advocacy and removes this topic from lurker's eyes, but she claims it condenses and improves the setting for this sort of discussion. In fact, she uses much the same verbiage the U.S. Government used when it justified the Japanese American interment in WW II and Native Americans onto reservations primarily in the 19th Century.
Might have been bot sign-ups. They were registering here before I added the crypto thing on sign-ups.
Forgive the curiosity Neil, but why won't the old girl upgrade? Is she suspicious of internal mail? Though I would assume on her screen she probably could turn that feature off. My thoughts are you guys are both half right, she obviously got immigrants from Free Republic, and obviously with no counter protocol bot sign ups will happen. It would behoove her to upgrade. One comment I'd like to make in regard to your very tight and well designed interface is I really miss a title search (at least) function. I used other software to bookmark key threads, and when I scan posting histories I record as I go. I have all of several people's posts omn CD for example, and I record all my posts. Just to give you some input how I do things and what I miss when I use your product.
Yes, private mail can be turned off on the admin console. A lot of features can be turn on and off. LP's database is old. I've not touched it at all in 3 years or more, and to upgrade LP would require bringing that DB up to the standard required for the current software. The estimate I gave on that is probably what's keeping it from happening. They started to be an annoyance here earlier this year. There is one. Latest Articles page. And thank you.
