I just finished (well, mostly finished) a new website called EnemiesOfTheRepublic.Org ( http://www.enemiesoftherepublic.org )

It will essentially be a database of persons and entities that stand accused of treason against the people and against the several states. It was born out of a discussion on freedom4um the other day where it was decided that we really need to start taking down names.

It is ready to rock and roll, but I would like to see if anyone here cares to submit some "suspects" to be reviewed by our admin team, before we really start promoting it.

Please submit your favorite villain, but please, don't all go after GWB. I already did him. :)

You will need to be able to substantiate your charges with evidence however. Suitable evidence would be lame stream news sources, public records, etc. There are form fields for your accusation, and URLs to supporting evidence.

I would also like to hear some constructive criticism. Once I am sure that it is user friendly and our administrators are up the the task, I will be promoting it heavily.

The intent of this site is to have a list of persons we need to bring before grand juries once we get our country back, and also to discourage people from conspiring to commit treason against us, by showing them that we are indeed keeping track of who is responsible for the loss of our liberties.

This site is in no way threatening anyone with anything other than being brought to justice someday, and receiving a fair trial if indicted by a lawfully convened grand jury. Please have a look and give it a test drive.

Regards,

Jim

The admins simply review submitted suspects. We have to be sure we have a case against someone before we list them. There is no banning or anything like that.

Great - thanks for the clarification there.

I'll try putting up some of the known suspects and see how it goes...does your data base have a list of gimme's? ie: smirk, big dick, rummie, et al?

I would like to add The Freedom Sates Alliance, the most secretive and deceptive Gun Grabber group on the Internet. As for the needed evidence most of it will be found on their own subsite http://www.gunguys.com which often talks about ending the Antique exemption for gun collectors and fully legalizing gun grabbing by repealing the Second Amendment.

Made you an admin.

Thanks for the entry. You brought out some bugs for me to fix. Like notorious event field. I had to limit it to 30 characters or it displayed right across the whole page onto the sidebar. And, I have to set the state field at 2 characters so we only get two letter abreviations. Whatever gets entered in a field, also gets entered in a pull down for the search feature, so if we have people spelling out states, and using abreviations, we will have that search by state pull down loaded with all sorts of stuff.

A couple suggestions:

Enemies of the Republic is a user contributed and searchable data base of politicians, judges, bureaucrats, lawyers, police officers, journalists, media outlets, corporations and other entities actively engaged in subverting federal and state constitutions, and violating or conspiring to violate the natural and constitutionally protected rights of the citizens of the several states.

Might it be better to just say "Americans"?

This site is in no way threatening anyone with anything other than being brought to justice someday, and receiving a fair trial if indicted by a lawfully convened grand jury.

How about this instead:

This site defends the rights of all Americans, including those herein deemed to be "Enemies of the Republic." Though "Enemies of the Republic" merit immediate public condemnation for treasonous, unconstitutional or un-American acts, their persons and property remain vouchsafed by the very same Constitution that they themselves wantonly violate. All are presumed to be innocent until lawfully tried and found guilty by a jury of their peers.

Has anyone entered the FBI shooter Lon Horiochi - or however the murderer spells his name?

No yet, but he has to be added, for sure.

I will probably do that tonight, if no one else does it.

Yeah, I'd say 120 visitors today is pretty good for a 2 day old site. Alot are from here, some from a place called Freedom Crows Nest, some from the joomla developers forum, some from a yahoo group.

Once we have a bunch of entries, I am going to do a provocative Digg posting, if no one beats me to it.

Also, I will probably try to call into the AJ show with it.

If anyone else calls AJ's show, please plug it, ok?

The "To:" edit bug continues.

This should now be fixed. Sorry for the delay, but the bug did not effect the actual pings. The persons that were originally pinged prior to editing were/are still being pinged even though the "To" field appeared empty. Just the way it works under the hood. The recipients would not see either their screen name or ping list on the LC page, but they would still see the listing for that particular post.

At some point I'll allow editing of the "To" line but that's a more complicated fix.
