In response to Ron Paul’s reasonable and informed contention that our interventionist foreign policy created the “blowback” that gave rise to Al Qaeda, and 9/11, Rudy Giuliani burbled “I don’t think I’ve ever heard that!” Of course he hasn’t heard it: he’s so busy pandering to the worst instincts of “I believe the CIA is correct when it warns us about blowback. We overthrew the Iranian government in 1953 and their taking the hostages was the reaction. This dynamic persists and we ignore it at our risk. They’re not attacking us because we’re rich and free, they’re attacking us because we’re over there.” In effect: screw you, Rudy! As even the dumbos over at http://FreeRepublic.com acknowledge, Rep. Paul is factually correct. Bin Laden’s fatwa gave his reasons for the attack, and the savaging of Iraq — pre-invasion — is front-and -center..

Jew and Zionist are completely different things. There's a big difference between being anti-fascist and anti-semitic. I have several Jewish friends who despise Bush and Israel as much as I do. Stick to verifiable facts; Jews do not run this country, nor are they all in some secret cabal aimed at (fill in the blank). I don't know how many Jews you know, but they are as varied as any other cultural group. It has been an article of faith to support Israel among many of them; like them, I grew up just assuming Israel was a noble experiment. And like many of them, I am appalled at the way Israel has been behaving over the past two decades. You really have to look at the situation more. There is nothing "Jewish" about fascism. Catholics, Protestants, Islam, and every other religion/culture have their fascist elements.

As someone who lived in NYC during nearly all of the Giuliani administration, this guy has no hope. He won elections by appealing to the worst in human nature, and then he rubbed everyone's nose in his sleazy, adulterous behavior. Then he sued to evict his own family from the mayor's mansion, thereby notifying his wife and kids he wanted a divorce. He'd been screwing his mistress in a city-supplied apartment with the full knowledge of the NYC press corps, who somehow failed to report it, except the Village Voice, and was well-known to be a sleazebag. When he had his prostate removed, he was talking about Viagra and other cures to his impotence WHILE STILL MARRIED. Then he ran his divorce case in the tabloids, attacking his wife and even his kids. Today, his children will not speak to him. They had a poll recently in NYC to ask if New Yorkers would vote for him. The anser was an overwhelming no, but they did say they would vote for his far more competent successor, Bloomberg. I'll never forget Rudy demanding he get a few extra months to run NYC because ONLY HE knew all the 911 facts. This from an idiot who put his emergency HQ in the WTC, the most obvious target for terrorists worldwide. Rudy is toast. I have no idea who will get to lose to the Dem candidate, but it will not be Rudolph, the lying pig.
That is good in theory but in fact all one has to do look to see who runs the country. Whitewashing here will not be accepted. Nothing Jewish about fascism??? That is ludicrous, not even worth comment.
Now you're getting silly. Who was the last Jewish president? Vice president? How many Jewish senators or congressmen are there? Jews are over-represented in law, entertainment, medicine and finance. That is part of their culture, not some evidence that they run the country. There is nothing particularly Jewish about fascism. Catholics (Italy, Argentina, El Salvador, Colombia), Protestants (Germany, South Africa), Atheists (USSR), Muslims (Iraq, Pakistan, Egypt) and any other religion you pick have an equal or far more impressive fascist history. Falwell and Robertson and Bush are good examples here. Not worth comment? That indicates to me that you can't maintain an argument. Were Mussolini and Hitler and Stalin fascists or no? How many Jewish states have been fascist? I dislike the Likudniks as much as the next guy, but they're far from the worst fascists ever. They just happen to be in charge of a particularly sensitive fascist state at the moment. You're letting a larger political argument disappear because you, for some reason, dislike Jews. The majority are as anti-Bush and Zionism as I am. Dunno about you.

The idea that Jews run the world is silly. They're overachievers, sure, but so are Asians. Check out who the wealthiest people in the world are...virtually all Muslims or Christians. There are many high-profile wealthy and powerful Jews, but they hardly run the world. In this country, it's wealthy protestants who run things. Go down to Wall St., or check into the background of Jim Baker and virtually every other powerful politician. Blaming it on the Jews is simplistic. Here, it's the old money protestants and the new money oil and pharmaceutical and other big business protestants who run things.
