What an odd thing for the next Prime Minister of Great Britain to say. So behaving like bullies and conniving gangsters is the new "ethos"? It is this commitment to civil society, Brown said, that “drives all that we [in Government] are doing in advancing the cause of peace with security in the Middle East” and “is why I remain a life-long friend and supporter of Israel.” It is also why, he pledged, “Britain will be a true and constant friend – in good times and bad – and we will never compromise our relationship to political expediency.” To Which Middle East is Brown referring?
