According to Raw Story, Susan Ralston took the Fifth during depositions with Waxman's shop.

"The subjects this morning that she will be unable to testify to...are the subjects of the relationship between Jack Abramoff and his associates and White House officials, including Ms. Ralston, and the subject of the use by White House officials of political e-mail accounts at the RNC," Ralston's lawyer, Bradford Berenson said, during the May 10 deposition. "She has material, useful information about both of those subjects."
The article goes on to say that Ralston is seeking immunity for these subjects. Boy...it gets curiouser and curiouser when dropping through the rabbit hole of the RICO Conspiracy Formerly Known As The US Government.
(I note, BTW, that Bradley Berenson sounded familiar...Yep! Sure enough. He's Kyle Sampson's lawyer as well.)
I don't have much more to add at this point. If they give her immunity, things sound like they are going to get hot very fast. She knows where many bodies are buried (hopefully not literally but with this crowd...who knows?). I just thought that this was a newsworthy item that deserves more than an Open Thread entry. I do think that Ralston is one of the premier players in several overlapping "enterprises" and would be surprised if Waxman didn't seek immunity for her.
