During a talk at the Rebuilding America's Senses event at the University of Texas last month, Jones laid out facts about steel samples recovered from the WTC site that Popular Mechanics dare not even attempt to debate. Debunkers are scared to even get near this information because the science behind it fundamentally contradicts the official story of what happened on 9/11. Jones detailed his lab experiments in which he attempted to replicate NIST's conclusion that the lava like orange material flowing out of the south tower is aluminum from Flight 175, the plane that hit the building. Jones clearly documents the fact that liquid aluminum is silver and not orange as is seen in the video of the south tower, therefore the material cannot be aluminum. Jones then explains that the material is in fact a compound that can cut through steel like a hot knife through butter, thermite with sulphur added to make thermate. The crux of the fresh evidence revolves around newly uncovered globules or spheres that were discovered at the WTC site that Professor Jones was able to obtain and run a electron microscope analysis on. The spheres contained iron and aluminum, which would be expected in any steel sample, but also sulphur which is a by-product of a thermate reaction. So having moved from a hypothesis that thermate was used to bring down the towers from using video footage and debunking the aluminum explanation of NIST, Jones now has empirical scientific proof, undertaken under laboratory conditions, that thermate was indeed used as an artificial explosive at the World Trade Center. It has now been proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that the collapse of the twin towers and WTC 7 was an act of deliberate arson and not as a result of fires from crashing planes. Jones' evidence offers no other conclusion that insiders planted thermite devices within the buildings to literally pulverize the supporting columns and cause the collapse of the towers and also WTC 7. Debunkers have uniformly failed to address the existence of thermite and also molten metal at the ground zero site because they cannot dismiss the scientific proof, and are forced to resort to ad hominem insults and smears. When you run out of facts it's time to pull out the insults and smears. We don't expect the progenitors of yellow journalism to have any answers for what constitutes the smoking gun of controlled demolition. PM hasn't got any jounalists qualified enough to even come close. They'e done a good job so far with the sensationlism to keep the goobs excited and not thinking clearly.

Come on, *truthers* ... at least keep up to date. Jones is no longer calling the material that flowed out of the towers "orange". He now says it was yellow or "yellow-white hot molten metal". In fact, he says "molten aluminum would appear silvery due to high reflectivity combined with low emissivity, while molten iron would appear yellow (as seen in the video record.)" So at least get your facts correct before you start more of this nonsense. You don't appear to even know what your own experts are currently saying. I'm embarrassed for you. ROTFLOL! The weakness in the argument would appear to be the chain-of-custody, i.e., proving that the substance tested originated from the ruins of the WTC.
Especially when the source of the substance was the same source that supplied and then allowed Jones to suggest a chunk of material was "slag" from a molten pool of steel when it clearly was not. ROTFLOL!

DUST was obtained from Ms. Janette MacKinlay who photographed a piece of material from the WTC rubble pile and Dr. Jones described it as shown below: The World Trade Center Dust and the Message of its Iron-rich Microspheres The provenience of the dust sample used in my study is from an apartment at 113 Cedar St. in New York City. This fourth-floor apartment was the residence of Janette MacKinlay, and was approximately 100 meters or so from the closest Tower, the South Tower. During the collapse of the South Tower on 9/11/2001, the windows of this apartment broke and the apartment was flooded with dust. MacKinlay in fact contains residue from a thermite-analog (such as thermate), it will be necessary to perform analyses on samples from the actual object. When a sample is obtained, a range of characterization techniques will quickly give us information we seek. STEEL SAMPLES were allegedly obtained from multiple sources and from multiple memorial sites. Just to keep the unwary from being deceived by nolu_chan's highly *selective* presentation, here is how Dr Jones presented the "large rusty object" in his published papers and presentations. Take a look at page 26 of http://www.journalof911studies.com/volume/200609/DrJonesTalksatISUPhysicsDepartment.pdf and you will find this slide: Look very carefully at that slide. It's title is "Previously molten-metal from WTC, ... Look at the white text on the lower right corner of the slide. "Eyewitness testimony and a substantiating photographic record suggest that a large sample of SLAG from the World Trade Center is being held at Hanger 17 of the John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York City. Access to the SLAG sample should be made available to appropriate physicists in order to conduct non-destruction X-ray Flouresence tests and other forms of examination, which should reveal evidence of the cause of the collapse of the Twin Towers." Dr Jones was clearly trying to mislead those looking at that image. Because in fact, that rusty object is this Dr Jones published a recent paper, "Why Indeed Did the WTC Buildings Completely Collapse?", where there is a picture of the chunk (the same picture used to make the slide in his presentation) and it is just as clear as the one I posted above. The paper says this about it: "The following photograph has become available, evidently showing the now-solidified metal with entrained material, stored (as of November 2005) in a warehouse in New York". How he could have failed to notice the intact steel beams, concrete other unmelted items in that chuck is beyond me. But then I've noted for some time that 9/11 *truthers* seem to have special difficulty with visual imagery. Being a sub-atomic particle physicist, perhaps he doesn't know what rebar looks like? ROTFLOL!

I like the Alex Jones Cartoon. I should make one of George Bush, Chertoff, Rove, and Cheney saying the same thing, only that you have to pay your taxes so that they'll protect you from the so called terrorists. What a pantload.
