IQ and neonatal and childhood nutrition http://www.healingwithnutrition.com/adisease/add-adhd/harrellstudy.html Does anyone believe that all of China and India, for example, have tested the IQs of all their citizens? Half are illiterate.
Nature or nurture? The age old question. Why is it I can name which nations are unproductive, and have been for ages, just as I'm able to avoid certain areas of cities and towns based solely on the population?
Avoiding certain high-crime neighborhoods is not necessarily about low IQs, a lot of criminals are very smart. I'm sure I wouldn't last long in such a neighborhood, as I have no street smarts (assuming I could blend in). A nation's productivity may not necessarily be about IQ. Ancient civilizations show that people of every color were successful at some point. When our Celtic ancestors were roaming hunters and gatherers in the UK and Northern Europe, there were already ruins of sophisticated civilizations on other continents.
My distant ancestors were late getting out of the trees but they caught on quick about fighting over bananas and females. Is that an idicator of an above average IQ?????
A good question ;P What I've read about IQ tests are that they favor white males, so I would say 'yes'. Seriously though, other mental abilities, such as creativity cannot be tested very well. I learned this from a psychologist at a Mensa party. I also learned that psychologists can cheat on IQ tests, from the same individual.

There are variances within all groups.. highs and lows.. and IQ just like any other trait is inherited.. nurture does have a role as does nutrition.. consider this:
