Welcome to the new Wayne Madsen Report

Since May 2005, we have striven to maintain this site as a free site. The generous contributions from our readers have kept us going thus far as an independent media source within Washington, DC.

However, two major factors have convinced us that we had to change our format from a free site to a members' site. One is the increasing costs associated with trying to compete with the corporate media here in the nation's capital. To put it bluntly, we were looking at maintaining the business model of a free site but the eventuality of going broke was a certainty.

The second is the fact that, although we were trying to compete with the corporate media as an independent sources of news and views, we found our site being regularly "borrowed from" by that very same corporate media. In other words, on our meager resources, we were actually providing, free-of-charge, story ideas for the corporate media. That was good news for their bottom line but disastrous for ours.

We now have now switched over to a membership site with many new features our readers have been asking us to provide for quite some time. Financial and technical restraints previously prevented us from providing RSS feeds, comments sections, and other features. But now we have all those and more!

To our readers and past financial supporters, we hope we can count on your continued interest and support -- whether as free, individual, or corporate members.

Note: Some of our readers avoid using Pay Pal for various reasons. You can still subscribe via snail mail to:

It's too bad really since WMR is a great source for intelligence. I'll miss it since I can't afford it right now. That is going to cut my ability to find some good subject matter to write about.

Of course if a few of you out there wish to pool your resources and allow me to subscribe at that special $30 rate, I will make sure I post articles from WMR to keep us abreast of the corruption and other information from WMR. And you might just get an occasional bonus article from me in the process.

The thing is, even if you stop paying taxes you'll still hear nonsense from Bush.

If you have followed Madsen over the years, you would see that he has a pretty good batting average. Apparently you haven't.

I prefer the way Daniel Hopsicker raises $$. He allows new articles to be read for free, has an infrequent fund raiser, and then sells archived reports in book form.

I wish he would have chosen a different method of fund raising.

Like most ventures I've observed, if only a dollar a month were donated by everyone using the product or service, there would be no need for subscriptions or fundraisers.

It's sad that 10-20% of the users have to support the other 80-90%.

That Internet 2 will eventually replace the Internet so that we can all be controlled and tracked.

The 2nd two are covered extensively on this 4um. There are ping lists and categories for each.

As for the internet, the Pentagon has admitted to Cyberspace war. And there is a bill in Congress that could lead to more control of the internet.

Join in any of the existing or new threads and challenge anyone. If you are not intellectually honest, and just a paid shill, you will not enjoy your experience on this 4um.

Repeating the same post with the same points that have already been logically and overwhelmingly proven to be false, will be met with derision.

The Bush regime has a lot at stake to keep the public in the dark. We are motivated only by patriotism and a love of this Republic, to expose the evil and darkness for what it is.

Tread carefully.

Alex Jones alleges specifically that Internet 2 [www.internet2.edu] is part of a government plot to destroy the Internet as we know it and force us all onto Internet 2.

That is 100% pure garbage and I say that as someone who has attended every Internet 2 meeting in Washington DC since the 90's.

I reject the idea that a tri-national union complete with a common currency can be created outside the legislative AND democratic process.

There is no action being taken in the American, Canadian or Mexican legislatures to create or promote a North American Union.

Correct - the legs have been cut out.

The Presidents and the PrimeMinister have signed the agreement, and set up the committees to implement the nau.

What we are witnessing with this NAU crap is simply a corporate merger and takeover. It is on an international level as opposed to a local level.

FEDGOV is a foreign entity to that of the states. If you think these corporatist slobs would do anything in the best interests of the people then you are sadly mistaken.

There is no credible or believable scenario in which a NAU and common currency are formed without action in the legislatures of each nation.

As powerful as global corporations are they are not all powerful and certainly not powerful enough to create a tri-national union outside the legislative process.

You forget about the Fast Track method whereby treaties are rammed thru the legislature for approval rather than by the constitutional method of ratification in the Senate. I fully expect that when the final touches are in place to fully implement the NAU something similar will be presented to our Congresscowards and they will compliantly sell us down the river again.

Any and all legislation can be, and likely already is, drawn up and waiting in the wings to be introduced at the proper time, just as the USA PATRIOT ACT was after 9-11. Then, you can put your head between your legs and kiss your NAFTA ass goodbye.

If you think there is no credible scenario around this then you are behaving as an obvious shill for the globalists.

Why didn't they do that with the amnesty bill?

Even if NAU legislation were secretly waiting in the wings that does not automatically mean it would be passed. Besides, a tri-national union would require that same legislation waiting in the wings of the Canadian and Mexican legislatures as well. There is no guarantee it would be passed easily in those nations.

What makes you think it is not? The globalists are very patient and this NAU is one of their major goals. If you doubt me, simply look in the archives of Foreign Affairs and you just may find a rant promoting the NAU.
