Welcome to the new Wayne Madsen Report

Since May 2005, we have striven to maintain this site as a free site. The generous contributions from our readers have kept us going thus far as an independent media source within Washington, DC.

However, two major factors have convinced us that we had to change our format from a free site to a members' site. One is the increasing costs associated with trying to compete with the corporate media here in the nation's capital. To put it bluntly, we were looking at maintaining the business model of a free site but the eventuality of going broke was a certainty.

The second is the fact that, although we were trying to compete with the corporate media as an independent sources of news and views, we found our site being regularly "borrowed from" by that very same corporate media. In other words, on our meager resources, we were actually providing, free-of-charge, story ideas for the corporate media. That was good news for their bottom line but disastrous for ours.

We now have now switched over to a membership site with many new features our readers have been asking us to provide for quite some time. Financial and technical restraints previously prevented us from providing RSS feeds, comments sections, and other features. But now we have all those and more!

To our readers and past financial supporters, we hope we can count on your continued interest and support -- whether as free, individual, or corporate members.

Note: Some of our readers avoid using Pay Pal for various reasons. You can still subscribe via snail mail to:

Why would anyone pay to hear wild conspiracy theories and rumors?

If you have followed Madsen over the years, you would see that he has a pretty good batting average. Apparently you haven't.

Is it better than Alex Jones?

They compliment each other, and often report the same things. Madsen reports them earlier than Alex Jones. Sometimes much earlier.

Hmm. Well, I find Alex Jones to be a loudmouth snake oil salesman who makes a living through scaremongering and by promoting wild, unsubstantiated conspiracy theories.

Which theories do you find unsubstantiated?

That Internet 2 will eventually replace the Internet so that we can all be controlled and tracked.

That 9/11 was an inside job.

That the powers that be are creating a North American Union.

And there are others.

You're sound asleep on this one.

I reject the idea that a tri-national union complete with a common currency can be created outside the legislative AND democratic process.

There is no action being taken in the American, Canadian or Mexican legislatures to create or promote a North American Union.

Correct - the legs have been cut out.

The Presidents and the PrimeMinister have signed the agreement, and set up the committees to implement the nau.

What we are witnessing with this NAU crap is simply a corporate merger and takeover. It is on an international level as opposed to a local level.

FEDGOV is a foreign entity to that of the states. If you think these corporatist slobs would do anything in the best interests of the people then you are sadly mistaken.
