Surprise, surprise. The internet thinks that Ron Paul won the debate last night. What is the deal with his supporters? Are they just a bunch of IT guys who have built little voting programs to stuff the ballot on behalf of their man? CNN has a poll right now asking about last night’s debate. Ron Paul leads the field by a wide margin in each of the following questions: 1) Who do you think won the debate? 2) Who seemed to know most about the issues? 3) Who had the best one-liner or comeback? 4) Whose performance was most surprising? 5) Whose campaign got the biggest boost from the debate? And of course he is not leading this question: 1) Who had the most disappointing performance at the debate? Seriously folks, what is the deal? How could anyone in their right mind think Ron Paul won last night’s debate? The guy barely got 20 words in the whole time. I think it actually diminishes Ron Paul’s message for his supporters to so obviously stuff the ballots in these polls that can be manipulated. Real polling shows Ron Paul in a dead heat with “other” and Mickey Mouse, so it’s obviously a farce for him to be leading in these online polls. And as a funny aside, not surprisingly, Ron Paul isn’t leading the polling for this question “Who was the snappiest dresser?” Apparently suave Mitt Romney just beat out Ron Paul’s cheap suit and crooked tie. The mainstream press seems to think that the big three (McCain, Giuliani, and Romney) all had strong performances last night. Also, Mike Huckabee was a pleasant surprise. His sharp wit and gentle demeanor seemed to please a lot of folks. That being said, he still has very little shot at winning the nomination. So let’s please narrow the field down before the next debate.

P.P.S Seeing that the US Govt has done AL-CIA-duh's bidding in the Balkins and Iraq, when do we bomb ourselves for supporting the terrorists? love it This is why "R"s fear Ron Paul. Because he "get's it" and has seen the effects of long term brush fire wars. He saw the inflation of the post-Vietnam era first hand. Paul also knows that the only way to stomp out every Muslim with a hot temper is to convert the US into one huge muntion's and arms factory and turn this country into a mirror image of 1970's USSR. I ask every bot the same question when they say they want to "win" the WOsT. Are you ready to surrender every car you own, eliminate the consumer economy, eat cabbage 3 meals a day, and work 24/7 in an arms factory? Because that is the only way the US can do it. That's why the *ugh* leaders on both sides of the R/D fraud keep making noises about using nukes. They know making the bulk of the Us population drive trabants and yugos the rest of our lives won't go over too well. Lobbing around ICBMs is more tolerable because it won't interupt American idol or drive up the price of SUVs Ron Paul (and that other former Senator from Alaska on the "D" side) are the only ones who dare step outside the box and ask us to take a hard look at just what it is we are fighting for in the first place and if we should be fighting at all. That makes him a great threat to the MIC and the fear factory in DC who gut our rights in the name of defending us from CIA assets gone bad.

"Snappiest dresser" is subjective, but to people like "can of corn" I think we're safe in assuming it is a measure of money. Romney obviously had the most expensive clothes, but why the hell would anyone vote for him because of that? Shit, I'm as democratic as the next guy, but do we really need all this static? Maybe we can hold several elections at the same time, but once you show up you have to pick one and only one in which you wish to cast a vote.

At Tufts in Boston, a group of conservative students published a counterpoint article to offset the rosy view of Islam being depicted during Islamic Awareness Week. Their article highlighted the bigotry and violence associated with the Koran. What was the reaction to their counterpoint? Charges of harassment, and a guilty verdict by a panel of faculty and fellow students. Free speech is not tolerated at the majority of Universities if it differs from their extreme left wing ideology..... spooky!

I agree; however, these two, along with MI5 in Britian, for all intents and purposes, are 1. Although they will act separately, it is more a case of a pack of wolves, where cooperation is essential to the success of the hunt, and it is only on the division of spoils that discord is found. The posts that I put up a few days ago about the CIA running drugs into the inner cities, and esp. I have been very busy today and have not had time to post this although I need to get it out there. I will make this very brief. A friend of mine from work got called by the the Gallup Poll people last night. They began asking various questions about Hilary and Rudy and Mitt. After they finally got done on what I would almost consider "push-poll" My buddy finally asked them, "When are you going to ask me about my favorite candidate"? They said "who would that be"? And he told them Ron Paul. Then the Polling person hummed and hawed around for a minute and said, "The computer just gives us the questions we should ask". With that my buddy ripped into them about how they claim to be a viable, honest poll. They finally gave him a number that he can call to complain. He left the number at home but I should be able to add it to this post sometime this weekend. - If they want comments and complaints we will give them some!
