Anthem, Arizona, is a town north of Phoenix founded ten years ago. It now has a population of 40,000. To ensure that it's water and wastewater are as clean as possible, the town sought to avoid chemical treatments and recently installed an ultraviolet (UV) water disinfection system. Two local golf courses are also using the UV-treated wastewater for irrigation.

Two closed-chamber, medium pressure UV systems handle 7 million gallons per day of drinking water and 3 MGD of wastewater.

The system, manufactured by Aquionics Inc., of Erlanger, Kentucky, reduces the towns dependence on chlorination, thereby minimizing output of chlorine by-products. It requires minimal maintenance and exceeds all water quality standards.

One of the things that we, as a people, have to learn is that there are solutions. Our problem is that we think that others are somehow 'empowered' to make our decisions for us. Shame on us.

Ultra-violet light (UV) as discussed in this post, kills all pathogens, without exception. However, it does not kill that which is not exposed to the light. Therefore, what is inside of the food, and not on the surface, is not affected. This works under the same system as sun shine, which also kills all pathogens exposed to it.

The good news is that UV light is exceptionally good at cleaning blood, and esp. blood from an individual which is then pumped right back into his body. Perhaps this is why it is illegal to use such devices for such purposes.

If a person thought this through, they would, perhaps, see some application for this type of treatment for all blood carried diseases, such as AIDS, but hey, what do I know.....

Thanks for the help and the disturbing information about blood.

So all that prison-blood that bentmember sold the Canadians could easily have been "purified?"

Totally criminal.

Did not have to use UV light to do it; a simple and very effective treatment, which has been used for many, many years is ozone. This is how the water system in Los Angelas was treated for decades.

But then you could not kill off a bunch of people with the infected blood, could you.

When the AID's hoopla was getting going in the early eighties, my father was to have prostate surgery: he delayed the procedure until he had enough of his own blood to get it done - should the need for additional blood arise.
