Emmett Tyrell was on C-SPAN last week some morning. Apparently the New York Times had reported that Grover Norquist was not at the DeLay testimonial, and Tyrell said this meant nothing, because Norquist was giving a dinner party at his home that evening (as though he couldn't cancel or reschedule it.) Over the weekend, C-SPAN Radio rebroadcast the testimonial, and I happened to hear one of the speakers announcing that Norquist was one of those present at the dinner. It sounded as if it was at the beginning of the testimonial. By the way, aren't Gaffney and Norquist supposedly enemies? (Something to do with Norquist's attempted opening to Muslims, as opposed to Gaffney's true-blue anti-Arab neoconservativism.) I wonder if Gaffney could have been pumping Guckert/Gannon for info on Norquist at the testimonial.

Doesn't it seem like when things go to hell, everything turns homo? I went to high school near Sharon. It's right on the border of Western Pennsylvania, a few miles from Youngstown, Ohio.
