Aircraft are basically flying fuel tube tanks. Engines, landing gear and a some other structures are the few robust parts of an airliner. The aircraft that struck the wtc towers were basically crushed on impact. Even the claimed velocities are in question. The NIST had to trump up the speed, angle and weight of the airliner for the impact to bring the towers down in the computer simulations. It would be very difficult for a large commercial aircraft at 1000ft or less to fly near max speed.

"I was real close to Building 7 when it fell down... That didn't sound like just a building falling down to me while I was running away from it. There's a lot of eyewitness testimony down there of hearing explosions. [..] and the whole time you're hearing "boom, boom, boom, boom, boom." I think I know an explosion when I hear it... Well, could be---but remember, Israel has a large number of Russian émigrés, so much that there is Russian language broadcasting and Russian subtitles for much Hebrew TV broadcasting over there.
Puissent tous les hommes se souvenir qu'ils sont frères!
It's NOTHING that a foreign soldier tells a reporter that WT7 is about to collapse and covers the camera with his hand?
The firemen on the scene knew it was about to collapse, too -- from the structural damage and fires it contained caused by the collpase of the main towers, not from any nefarious demolition plot.
