He’s clueless about political economy. Also, he lies. He claimed immigrants make up 1/3 of the prison population when in fact they have a lower incarceration rate than the rest of the population (they’re 6% of inmates and 7% of the total population). Also, he’s suggested immigrants are responsible for an imaginary leprosy epidemic(!). From the NYT article: The most common complaint about [Dobbs], at least from other journalists, is that his program combines factual reporting with editorializing. But I think this misses the point. Americans, as a rule, are smart enough to handle a program that mixes opinion and facts. The problem with Mr. Dobbs is that he mixes opinion and untruths. He is the heir to the nativist tradition that has long used fiction and conspiracy theories as a weapon against the Irish, the Italians, the Chinese, the Jews and, now, the Mexicans.

Since when, and, how do you define an American hero? Has he, ever, spoken of the Federal Reserve and its private control of the money supply, and interest rates? Has he ever questioned who controls the Federal Reserve? Has he ever mentioned that it would be a good idea to audit the Federal Reserve? Has he ever mentioned the CIA control of drugs coming into the US? Has he ever mentioned the CIA-Mossad-MI-6 connection, and how it ties into the international movement of so-called illegal drugs? Has he ever asked for a further investigation into 911? Has he ever asked for additional info on what is happening with VoteScam? The stealing of elections using vote-fraud electronic machines? (I hope you understand that I could go on and on and on and on here, about the things he does not dare to speak of.) Does he support Ron Paul? Or, does he just get on the tele and give you a little lip service on some subject that happens to be a hot button of the moment, and his answer is slightly different from the mainstream? Curious minds want to know....
