But…but…but…that’s UNPOSSIBLE!

The news was grim. Nine firefighters were killed after fire collapsed the roof at the Sofa Super Store, a former Piggly Wiggly on a busy retail highway. The deaths are the worst loss of firefighters since the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001.

Hrm. Anybody see any Bush admin stooges lurking around with detonators tucked under their trenchcoats? Anyone?

Snark aside, my condolences to the families who lost loved ones in this tragic event, and to Charleston’s fire/rescue community.

And a big fat “kiss my ass” to you Truther halfwits and your crackbrained conspiracy theories, right up to and including Ron Paul.

I don't get it. this store was a highrise? hit by a plane? is this purported to be a terrorist act?

I don't have an ax to grind on the wtc, as I'm still studying the issue and keeping an open mind. but I don't see how this sad and tragic incident affects the discussion at all.

Maybe that fire can weaken steel truss supports even on buildings with relatively little load causing it to collapse? And without a plane crasing into it at 500 mph?

But it's probably true that Bush and the Joos blew this building up, too.
