9/11 See other 9/11 Articles Title: WTC Sick website! This site is dedicated to those who have become ill from working at the World Trade Center site as a result of September 11, 2001. These forums are being provided for those who were exposed to discuss and compare symptoms, physicians, and to vent concerns. This site is dedicated to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice...to the volunteers, city employees, and families of those who are now ill as a result of working what was dubbed Ground Zero. We are brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, sons, and daughters. Now is the time to be treated as human beings and recognized as the SECOND WAVE of those who became ill and are dying as a result of exposure at the World Trade Center. They once called you a hero. They now ignore that you're a victim. I read elsewhere that the cadaver sniffing dogs are nearly all dead; and it ain't from old age.
I do remember Brian S posting something about that.. cancer rates I believe

It was always assumed that what men were exposed to had no effect on birth defects. It was assumed that only the healthy sperm made it to the egg. I read a study, years ago, that contradicted that assumption. It was discovered that fire fighters had children prone to heart defects. I remember sending it to my friend Becky whose husband was a volunteer fire fighter. Their daughter was born with a heart defect.
