What is Alex Jones doing?

When I ask his supporters that question they typically answer with something along the lines of, "He's waking people up. He's spreading information."

Okay, suppose that's true. People are "waking up" to the horrors of the New World Order as well as 9/11 being an inside job. So what?

Nothing is changing as a result of all this "waking up." Every day Alex Jones is ranting about the latest NWO atrocity. Every day he freaks out over the march of the NWO and the planned destruction of America. The 9/11 "truth" movement is big online but in the real world it's going nowhere.

In the world of Alex Jones, each day brings some new outrage. Each day the sky gets darker. Each day America is destroyed a little bit more. For all this "waking people up" crap, things aren't getting any better. Just look at Jones' various websites; it's all doom & gloom, all the time.

Seems to me, "waking people up" isn't doing jack shit.

Except putting money in Alex Jones' bank account.

very excellent observation Swarthyguy.

Sometimes referred to as lunch.

I picture a light but flavorful Dover Sole, a fine Chardonnay, sauteed green beans and asparagus, preceded by a Belgian Endive and vine tomato salad with fine silverware and a white tablecloth.

I suppose it depends on what "truth" you're talking about.

Or the truths not being talked about, such as allegations that there was ample intelligence prior to 9/11 to have prevented the attacks and possibly arresting the hijackers beforehand, but not acted on by the WH. The case of the Israeli art students seen celebrating the disaster also warrants further investigation.

Michael Ruppert claims in Crossing the Rubicon that Brit Hume has stated that Carl Cameron's source for his series on the Israeli art students was none other than Dick Cheney.

To reason, indeed, he was not in the habit of attending. His mode of arguing, if it is to be so called, was one not uncommon among dull and stubborn persons, who are accustomed to be surrounded by their inferiors. He asserted a proposition; and, as often as wiser people ventured respectfully to show that it was erroneous, he asserted it again, in exactly the same words, and conceived that, by doing so, he at once disposed of all objections. - Macaulay, "History of England," Vol. 1, Chapter 6, on James II.

If true, it sounds like more intrigue, for then the show never aired (except in bootlegged internet copies).

Was Cheney holding it against Israel for some purpose? Bizarre, considering who worked and still works out of his office and the hawkish pro-Zionist policies being set.

My thesis is that many intel agencies were warning and some like the Israelis new of the impending 9/11 (and chose not to warn us) attacks but were rebuffed.

2 reasons why the warnings were rebuffed:

1) The al-Qaeda cell was composed of American intel assets most recently used in Bosnia and the Balkans as well as in Chechnya - the nations warning us were the nations that had suffered at the hands of these CIA cells (Russia, Serbia, India) and thus our agencies distrusted their intel.

2) A segment of our intel community wanted them to attack us - so called Pearl Harbor scenario - leave yourself open to an attack.

What Alex Jones does is confront the world as he sees it, knowing that our "leaders" lie constantly, seeking the truth. Does he make mistakes? I'm sure that he does. But probably fewer than the government approved media that fills our airways with empty, meaningless, glass half-full spew each night.

You say that "waking up" people isn't doing jack shit. Your call to complacency and despair does even less.

I've made no "call to complacency," whatever that means.

I'm simply pointing out that Alex Jones is just a loudmouth who profits through selling fear disguised as the "truth" to people desperate to understand our complex world.

He's a snake oil salesman, not an activist. His daily 3 hour radio rant, his "documentaries" and his websites aren't doing a damn thing except putting money in his pocket. Nothing that Alex Jones, or any other conspiracy theorist, does is improving anything in America.

I agree with all of that.

Limbaugh, Jones, Bush, Clinton... all they do is preach fear and unfortunately, there are too many Americans who buy into it.

For Limbaugh, the liberals are the biggest threat. True patriots oppose liberals.

For Jones, the NWO/globalists are the biggest threat. True patriots oppose the NWO/globalists.

For Bush, al-Qaeda is the biggest threat. True patriots oppose al-Qaeda.

For Clinton and other liberals, right wingers & corporations are the biggest threat. True patriots oppose right wingers and corporations.

There is a HUGE market in America for fear.

You have to be fucking kidding.

This Saudi lickspittle, blustered about Osama dead or alive, Osama is free and alive, and the Bush family makes billions from their business deals with the Saudis.

James Baker defends the Saudis against the 911 families.

Bush said he doesn't care where Osama is, doesn't think much about him.

2000+ days later, the Shaikh is free, his stature unmatched in the Muslim world while Abu Dubya just shrugs.

What Bush has done is simply TREASON.

He's lucky to have such a bunch of lily livered jello spineless stupid pukes like the Dems against him.

It's not all that shocking when you consider the biggest supporter of militant Salafi AQ type extremism has been the US.

Bush used fear to obfuscate and confuse the issues; instead of clarifying, he muddied the waters.

You're right about the fear; another area where Bush has shown himself incompetent and stupid; however, from the point of view of enhancing the Bush connections with the Saudi moneybags, it's been brilliant. Instead of calming and leading the country with clarity, he's preyed on people's fears, magnifying them and playing them like his fucking guitar during Katrina to put out his version of a totally ineffective fucking war against Islamists.

The reason the antiIslamist cause is so discredited is because of that fucker.

The threat is there; but looking on this website you will find a lot of skepticism about how dangerous the threat is.

That is because the 3rdBase Abu is the one who's so discredited it and fucked it up that no one with a mind can buy it.

And don't get me started on a war on a fucking tactic. Imagine Roosevelt saying we have a war against sneak attacks.

Absurd Lies. Bush's Legacy. Fuck him.

The threat of terrorism is small just as virtually every threat promoted in America is small. The only threat that lives up to the hype is the multi faceted threat from the invasion of illegal aliens.

Muslim savages can't even hold ground in a shithole like Somalia so the idea that they pose a threat to the survival of the US is as stupid as it gets.

More than anything else, America is a market. Fear is just a marketing tool used by government, businesses, groups and individuals to sell something. It took me a while to figure out but now I understand how easy it is for bullshit to thrive in this nation.

The threat of terrorism is small just as virtually every threat promoted in America is small. The only threat that lives up to the hype is the multi faceted threat from the invasion of illegal aliens.

And as has been shown here in 4um in numerous posts, the illegal immagrant invasion has been promoted by the US government under the control of the Jewish interests.

In fact, the only real problem in America is the US government and it's Jewish handlers. So, since that is a given here in 4um, has been discussed and is well understood by most everyone (including you), is there anything else you would like to add?

"It was only after World War II that immigration law was drastically changed...In one of the first pieces of evidence of its political coming of age, the Jewish community had a leadership role in effecting those changes." (Earl Raab, Jewish Bulletin, July 23, 1993, p. 17)

The 'abolition of racial exclusiveness,' which has (also) been official U.S. Government policy since 1945, was, quite simply, the Jewish Marxist goal of planned genocide of the White Race, because the White Race remained the only possible opposition to the total domination of the world by international Jewish Marxism. No African or Asiatic nation has ever mounted a successful counter-revolution against a Communist regime, nor have they ever desired to. (Cincinnatus, Foreword, War! War! War!)

Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.

Seems to me, "waking people up" isn't doing jack shit.

You apparently haven't been paying attention.

9-11 truth is approaching critical mass.

Major celebs have stepped up and spoken up thanks to AJ's "waking people up". So have acadamics, current and ex government officials and others. The monopoly of lies foisted by BIG MEDIA has been broken.

Ron Paul, a constitutionalist (and long time friend of Alex Jones), is shocking the establishment by the depth, breath and intensity of his support on the Internet.

The Constitutionalist movement has been advanced immeasurably by Alex Jones, his websites, films, etc. And yet you denigrate him. Why? What's your beef? And what have you done to make up for what you think he's left undone?

Alex Jones can't do it all. He's only one man. But he's done far more than his share. I'm guessing you've got some catching up to do on that score (as do we all).

Check out my blog, America, the Bushieful.

Funny.

The 9-11 "truth" has peaked. It's online success has not and will not translate into mainstream success. It will never be taken seriously. It will remain a fringe movement. The people who make up the 9-11 "truth" movement are so obnoxious that, ironically, they are the ones harming the very thing they're trying to promote.
