O'Reilly was going off on a school in which the commencement speaker mentioned sex and drugs. Kid comes on, says he was AGAINST sex and drugs, and then reads from O'Reilly for Kids. In which Bill says an honor student toking a joint on Saturday night was no different than a surgeon having a martini at night.

Bill-O went OFF on the kid, and says, you should READ the book. The kid says, I did. And you said it. Bill-O cut off his feed. Turns out Bill-O had WARNED the kid not to read from his own book before the interview.

What amazes me about O'Reilly is how he ROUTINELY demonstrates that he is a boorish stupid oaf on his show and yet is still on the air. The man's show is a train wreck . . . but perhaps Bill O'Reilly does indeed represent the American "Everyman" . . . . proudly ignorant, conceited, hate filled, hypocritically prudish in public but degenerate in private, cheaply "patriotic" (which is basically just sickening militarism) but at the same time easily frightened and cowardly.
