Poster Comment: I used to wonder how some people today and many people in the past have fallen for this. Then I realized Norman Mailer was right: the natural condition of mankind is fascism. Freedom has only existed for a little for 200 years, and even now we're losing it. Fascists, no matter which name they use (fundamentalists, communists, socialists, whatever) want you to question nothing. We are to have no thoughts, no imagination, no music, no fun -- nothing that makes life worth living. You can see this horror in such novels as "1984" and "Brave New World." Recently, the closest myth that portrays this is the Borg of Star Trek -- unconsious and unquestioning, which is exactly what these people want all of us to be.

Scary thought there.
Now, now...any artist that would depict a child receiving a very cool GODZILLA action figure for Christmas can't be ALL bad...
And a telescope! I never got either of them. I did get a .22 single-shot rifle when I was 12, though.

i never did the santa claus/easter bunny fairytales with my son. why should some fake entity get the credit for the gifts of love we as parents gave him?
Scary thought there. Non-sense thought there. Ignores real history in favor of the stupid tales told in the public fool system. Ignores things like England, prior to 1066 when the pope licensed the invasion of England which was paid for by the Dutch/Jewish bankers. England had been free for 100s of years, and Ireland much longer. Even the Romans had to build a wall across England in order to hold on to what part they had conquered. Also ignores Germany, where the Germanic tribes were very free for 100s of years; much longer than the United States has existed, and, they beat the Romans. Also ignores the Vikings, who lived free for a lot longer still. Or the Danes, or the Swedes, or in Finland. In fact, a large percentage of the real descendants of the Israelites lived free for 1000s of years, until the Roman empire of today became so strong that it strangled it all, and largely because no one reads about what was really going on. And so we continue to make the same stupid mistakes. Like believing that there was freedom in the United States for over 200 years. Freedom here existed for about 83 years, to the end of the Civil War, which, by the way, was largely fought with mercenaries for the North. As I have posted before.
