What's your beef with GS? I thought he was OK.......unless it was the blurb at the end where he would have bet all in his pocket that Ron won't win? Most everyone feels that way--excepting us that want true change. May the quarterlies tell some tales and shake some peoples up.
I think GS was also trying to lend credibility to Guiliani when they showed the clip of him responding to Paul in the second debate (note how they didn't play Paul's immediate response that followed after Benito). It didn't work, and just made Il Douche look that much worse.
Ron Paul shined brilliantly, as usual. He's gotten the hang of how msm operates, and how to use the limited (and edited) time to best get the message out.
George, like many members of the media, is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations...he knows they have no intention of allowing Dr. Paul to reach the White House. My paper ballot will indicate a vote for Dr. Paul come November 2008, regardless. (If the country is still here, of course.)

Ron Paul Wins Big in First New Hampshire Straw Poll
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASEJuly 7, 2007
ARLINGTON, VIRGINIA Presidential candidate Ron Paul today won the Coalition for New Hampshire Taxpayers (CNHT) straw poll at their annual picnic in Hopkinton, New Hampshire. Dr. Paul received 182 of 294 votes cast, or 65 percent. In second place was Rudy Giuliani with 24 votes, or 8 percent.
"Today's strong victory is further proof that Dr. Paul's message is resonating throughout New Hampshire," said campaign manager Lew Moore. "Dr. Paul is the only candidate in this race truly dedicated to smaller government and lower taxes for all Americans."
Paul opponents are claiming that this event was stacked with Paul supporters. On the other hand; they claim that OFFICIAL POLLS show Paul at 2 or 3 per cent. I could argue that much of his support comes from young people, who don't have land lines, and, as a consequence, aren't included in such polls. I believe we could see a REAL SURGE in Paul support when colleges open in late August/early September. In any event; I don't think we'll know anything concrete until primary season. Ask for, and request, a paper ballot...don't let the machines steal your vote.

I'll have to find out if this is possible in Travis county. Before Dr.Paul announced, I mailed in my VoterRegistration and told them that I wouldn't be voting until they had paper ballots, hand-counted in plain view, at the precinct level.
I'll have to find out if this is possible in Travis county.
If it isn't; it ought to be. Who the hell are they to DENY you the right to vote in such a manner where YOU, as the voter, can be DAMN SURE you vote was tallied in the column of the candidate you voted for. No MACHINE can do that...

Ron Paul was outstanding except for the little squirm about really getting elected. He needs to work on that just a little but, he is clearly ready for the big boys.
He has been working all his life for this opportunity and clearly knows the true significance of his liberty message campaign.
A Ron Paul video clips DVD is now available on my site. FREEDOM TO FASCISM, the Illegals CD and the new montage of Ron Paul clips make a nice assortment of tools to help him get elected.
Voters coming to the polls to cast their vote in upcoming elections once again will use Travis Countys eSlate, the newest in Direct Record Electronic (DRE), state-of-the-art voting systems.
The really good news is that no computer experience is needed to vote on the eSlate system. Even Travis County voters who have not previewed the system find it extremely easy to use when they come to vote.
I hope you will take some time to view the materials on this web site and familiarize yourself with the eSlate. We look forward to seeing you during this and all elections.
I am familiar with how computers operate, and, as a consequence of that knowledge; I am NOT interested in using your easily-corrupted eSlate system. I'll take a paper ballot.
Regards,
One of millions of p*ssed-off voters

brilliant.
thanks!
i'm still working on non-internet individuals. one at a time. so far, i count 14 people i know personally who've come to support Ron Paul. they e-mail me once in while w/ questions and w/ requests for how to respond to questions from THEIR friends and family. all of which is very encouraging.
I agree; though I found it 'interesting' that CFR member Georgie stated that Dr. Paul had "no chance". So who's it going to be, Georgie...Fred or Hillary?

You might find these to be a helpful and cost-effective tool...I think poster 'wakeup' just announced that he now has a collection of Dr. Paul videos burned to DVD that could be used to inform those not familiar with Dr. Paul. I agree...there are many older people who aren't comfortable with computers, but nearly everyone owns a DVD player.

Three unique, Ron Paul video clips DVDs are now available on my site. FREEDOM TO FASCISM, the Illegals CD and the new montage DVDs of Ron Paul clips make a nice assortment of tools to help him get elected.
There are 100 million voters in this country, and only 3000 members of the CFR. Younger voters have taken a look at their p*ss-poor future, and they don't like what they see. This is going to be a very interesting election...

I know about GS and other media types as well as government types love affair with the CFR. I did not see anything obnoxious in the interview; matter of fact I took it in a positive light. Ron was great with his answers and in his gentle nature. He wasn't a raving lunatic with bulging eyes or neck veins about to bust out. GS didn't try to cut him off or change his words.
And as it regards jolly guili's comments at that debate, I felt GS did a great favor by asking the question because Ron then gave the answer regarding the CIA and 911 and also let it be known that in the following week jolly guily musta educated himself because he doesn't talk quite the same way now.
Like you, so long as they pass out ballots, I will be putting an 'x' by the name of Ron Paul. Hell, I'd put an 'x' by the name of my dead dog Luv before I'd vote for the elitist elect.
Can't help but laugh at the comments of the whiners, i.e., stacking with supporters......where the hell were them and their supporters.....was the picnic open only to Paul people? Or was it perhaps loaded with taxpayers who don't like the business as usual bullshit perped by the two-headed single bodied monster--the DemRep Party? Guess all the whiners supporters support more taxes.
There are 100 million voters in this country, and only 3000 members of the CFR
I guarantee you the 3000+ members of the CFR have influence a gazillion times more than the young people. Their infiltration into government and the military, not to mention the media, is frightening.

You can't make this point often enough...the Paul supporters are infiltrating this...they are spamming that...well then...WHERE the H*LL are the supporters of the OTHER candidates? Nothing is stopping them...is it because THEIR candidates are just the usual plain vanilla, business as usual corporate shills that have brought this Nation to the edge of destruction? Sucks to be you...as for me? It's Ron Paul...and for once; I will NOT be voting for the lesser of two evils!

#29. To: who knows what evil, wakeup, lodwick, chrisine, brian s, wbales, Ron Paul for President 2008 (#19)

I'm finding that I need to TAILOR my replies. Not enough to just send a web link or dvd. People are lazy, so they will read only short, tailored e-mails. At least first.
I find it helpful to accentuate the aspects of RP's platform that I know will appeal--like my friends who lean left: they like his opposition to the Iraq War and Patriot Act, but if they find out he's "pro-life" or that he would cut taxes they freak. My friends who lean right are an easier sell, but even there, some of them, sadly, are convinced we need to stay in Iraq.
And many people have issues w/ working to eliminate the Federal Reserve. This is probably the toughest one b/c it is hard to explain in 10 seconds or less. Even over a beer--or seven--it can be tough.
If anyone has any tailored info or is thinking along the same lines, please let me know.
