Title: The 9/11 Truth Movement has peaked

The 9/11 "truth" movement has peaked and is currently stalled. It will eventually settle down as just another fringe belief system endlessly hyped by its followers.

The online success of "Loose Change" was the peak for the movement. The independent "documentary" was the best chance the 9/11 "truth" movement had for the message to reach a broad audience. But the attempt to take "Loose Change" into the mainstream has gone nowhere as its makers are bogged down in the editing process trying to clean up the factual mess they made.

The 9/11 "truth" movement is no longer growing and it will not enter the mainstream consciousness as a serious alternative to the "official story."

If "Loose Change" ever gets a theatrical release [and that's questionable] it will be a box office bomb, symbolic of the movement that inspired it.

Face it, truthers, it's time to get a new hobby.

There was some suspicious "maintenance" work, including power outages, in the towers in the weeks preceding 9/11. And a change in security, including this bizarre story:

Former Deputy Director of the FBI, John P. O’Neil stated, “The main obstacles to investigate Islamic terrorism were U.S. oil corporate interests and the role played by Saudi Arabia in it.” Can you think of anyone (Bush) linked to both wealthy Saudi Arabians and U.S. corporate oil? John O’Neil resigned from the FBI after 31 years of service after Barbara Bodine, currently part of the Iraqi transition team, barred him from following up his investigation of the attack on the U.S.S Cole. He took a job heading security at the World Trade Center… his first day of work - September 11, 2001. John O’Neil received the job from Jerome Howard, Former Director of the New York Office of Emergency Management, who happened to have the day off on 9/11. We may only speculate on the case of Mr. O’Neil, but he does seem to be a person which U.S. oil corporate interests would want out of the way… especially during these wars for oil and power in Iraq and Afghanistan.

Marvin Bush was a bigwig, BoD member of the firm that managed security for the WTC.

Once you dig, it's a pretty tight loop.

What better way to get rid of a gadfly like that.

It is a standard false logical argument and misdirection technique. I have no way of knowing who, what, where, or when about the events of 9/11. I don't claim to. All I know is that those towers didn't collapse and pulverize themselves into neat little piles because planes hit them (and in the case of Seven- seemingly just fall down because some steal beams from the other towers hit it and some fires broke out on a couple of floors.)

I could posit all sorts of theories about the ways and means of how 9/11 was carried out and by who. And then Mister Clean could punch holes in them- and I could patch them again- and we could go right along talking about things neither of has a clue about all day long. That's the point of trying to steer the conversation into abstraction and silly conjecture.

I'm amazed at the complete dirth of popular culture knowledge about the hijackers and the complete lack of any interest in who the men supposedly behind the most heinous crime in US history were.

Could even one in one hundred thousand people in this country name a second hi- jacker after Atta? Could they recognize the picture of another hijacker placed among pictures of other Arab males?

This country literally has dozens of television shows that go into nauseating detail about the most mundane of murderers and yet I have yet to see an "investigative report" about the life of one of the hijackers before the attacks. People know what color Scott Peterson dyed his hair and the name of his sideline whore- but they couldn't tell you a damn thing about one of the guys supposedly involved in killing 3000 Americans in the most vile single act of mass murder in the history of this country. Nope.

Some fictionalized HBO movie was made about Atta I think- but "fictionalized" is the key word to remember. It was "inspired" by Atta- not based on the "true story". Why is that?

Where is "Dateline" banging on the door of the relatives of one of the hijackers in Jedayh or Riyadh? Can't do that? No "interest" in that huh? But there is in sand bagging internet perverts every week for a year though.

The dirth of attention or interest in the hijackers themselves by our media is suspicious in and of itself.

Contemplate the mangled bodies of your countrymen, and then say 'what should be the reward of such sacrifices?' Bid us and our posterity bow the knee, supplicate the friendship, plough, sow, and reap, to glut the avarice of the men who have let loose on us the dogs of war to riot in our blood and hunt us from the face of the earth?

If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude than the animated contest of freedom, go from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains sit lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen!”
