Clearly, we shouldn't do a damn thing about controlling the borders, as apparently now it's a jewish plot.
Let all the illegals keep comming in by the millions. That'll show the zionists!
The above was found on "the thread" (at Liberty Forum).
I have no quarrel with Liberty Forum in general, having read very little there.
As nearly as I can tell, some paranoiac has decided that someone allegedly connected with the Minutemen is allegedly a "zionist".
The whole thing sounds to me like just another smear job on the Minutemen.
I prefer to look for a simple explanation, since the simplest view is often the most logical and correct one. Therefore, I conclude that I like the work the Minutemen have done because: 1. They have embarrassed the Bush administration (which, to me, is the real enemy) and therefore they are helping to create a split in the corrupt cabal which currently has a lock on our government. 2. They have embarrassed the republicans, and therefore can't be all bad (or, aren't "bad" at all). 3. They have forced the elites to look at a problem which real Americans insist be addressed.
Fuck whoever is trying to smear the Minutemen. Let them continue to try to shake up the powers-that-be. I like it when people succeed in shaking up the powers-that-be. That weakens said powers, and brings them closer to being overcome by real Americans.

Hey, I even tried to convince the DU-ers of the value of the Minuteman project. They are skeptical of anything they perceive to be "right wing", but they were willing to listen and acknowledged that if the Minutemen help to split the republican monolith, that alone makes them worthwhile. (And, surprisingly, there are a lot of people on that board who are just as sick of the illegals as the rest of us are.)
