SCHEDULE FOR JULY 14, 2007 (CHICAGO)(July 13, 2007) Chicago-based Internet journalist, broadcaster, media critic and Republican U. S. Senate candidate Andy Martin will attend a picnic sponsored by Palestine Solidarity Group of Chicago on Saturday, June 14th at Montrose Beach. 'I am delighted to once again demonstrate my support for the International Solidarity Movement (ISM) and to join with my neighbors who believe in a peaceful solution to Middle East problems. I am committed to ending the occupation of Palestine. 'My voice is a very lonely voice in the Republican Party; indeed my voice is a lonely voice in American politics. Hate organizations such as AIPAC have sought to silence debate in the United States concerning the illegal policies of the Israeli regime. I am not intimidated. 'While AIPAC and other like organizations are not directly responsible for the disaster in Iraqonly President Bush was the 'decider-in-chief-AIPAC goaded Bush & Co. to invade Iraq on the delusional belief that the invasion of Iraq would lead to peace in the Middle East. Or, as they put it, The road to Jerusalem runs through Baghdad.' On the contrary, the road to hell has run through the American and Israeli occupations. 'In the meantime, the Israeli regime has continued to use its storm troopersso-called 'settlers'to continue the theft of Palestinian patrimony. All-in-all, recent years have been a shameful time for American diplomacy. 'I stand with ISM and like organizations such as Christian Peacemaker Teams (CPT) because these organizations are composed of brave individuals, fearless really, who stand between and try to avoid bloodshed between the Palestine people and the Israeli occupation army. "I have been in occupied Palestine, helping with the harvest, and seen violent, armed 'settlers' itching to commit murder in the name of their God-Given 'rights.' I see little distinction between the soldiers of the settler movement and the soldiers of Al Qaeda. Both use God' as a means to commit mayhem and steal. May God save us from such religious beliefs. I strongly support a War Against Terror that opposes both Al Qaeda and the Israeli occupation of Palestine. 'I saw unarmed, peaceful, often solitary ISM internationals' helping observe and helping inform and helping keep the peace. I feel humbled by their bravery and integrity. I am delighted to join with them on Saturday in Chicago. I will do my best to remove one of AIPAC'S instruments of Israeli occupation, Senator Dick Durbin, and to see that in the words of Martin Luther King, America as well is free at last.'-

Thats calling AIPAC by its rightful description! By the same token, Hamas should have never been classified as a terrorist organization, IMO.
