OKAY I'll go first.

After strattelling an alligator last night(going to try to get some pixs, cause I know it may be hard for some to believe, but if you have ever lived in Louisiana, its not too hard), worked in the horrible heat to clean and paint my sister in laws house to put it up for sale so she can move into her mother's house and take care of her.

But all she does well is smile, complain and smoke cigs. That's not a critic but an observation. She can drive, so that's a plus. She is really good about smoking cigs.

Ouch!

I'm busy trying to clean a spot so I can do some quilting. I've picked out fabric for two medium sized wall hangings.

Started back to work after two weeks of limited work and two weeks of no work. My legs are killing me. I didn't know you could get out of shape so fast.

Mine sucked, as well. I could have gone to the Ron Paul gathering in South Carolina today, but I was committed to a previous engagement, which completely crapped out. I'd drink, but I'm too tired to pick up any bottle, even one full of good imported beer.

I can't stand accumulating 'stuff'...I have a 'packrat' neighbor that drives me nuts...basement, garage, barn; just full of, as you put it so succinctly; sh*t.

what do you do with dozens of quilts? ..

I give a lot of mine away such as the baby quilt I show above. I'm not a prolific quilter so it hasn't been a problem yet. My intent is to decorate with them. I hope to have seasonal and holiday related ones. I have no real place to quilt so it's hard for me to get anything done.

Boring day. I kept thinking it was Sunday. The day had that sort of feel to it.

It's 97 degrees here and that is horrible. Most of the windows are puttied shut on the house. The real effort goes into keeping out the cold and wind. When it's hot, everyone is kind of lost.

Will play the fiddle with some people down in Boulder tomorrow. Haven't played the thing in public since since about 1994. Been practicing and sweating from the heat all day.

I have a 'packrat' neighbor that drives me nuts

I had one of those. He had a 4 bedroom house with little paths. After he died his nephew came with his wife to work on cleaning the place out. He opened the kitchen door to the garage to look for the battery charger and his wife exclaimed, "I thought you said there was a car in here". There was, two of them. Couldn't see either of them. He kept stacks of old school desks in the back yard. I guess he had a twin brother who was the same way.

Nice that you were to the point.

If it helps I am looking at dealing with six quarelling children of my recently deceased father in law who transferred $100,000 to her account ten days before he died.

I is not going to be pretty or fun. Like reading and understanding Louisiana legal documents?????

It is Louis the fourteenth kinda stuff. Completely designed to bamboozle the non lawyers.

That't the problem here. No a/c anywhere. The place isn't set up for heat. It's going to be miserable from now until the end of August.

There is a river here where they do white water rafting. Really swift with huge rocks and stuff. Evey0one was swimming in it today. I was surprised. I always thought it would be too dangerous, but no one seemed to have a problem.
