Republicans are moronic if they think they have a chance at the presidency next year. The GOP is so far down the toilet that just about any alternative will suffice for most Americans. Yes, even if it means Hillary and/or Obama. The handlers need to prop up a Democrat this time to maintain the illusion of a two- party system.

Only Ron Paul can possibly throw a wrench into the whole thing and at least make it fun and interesting. Republicans are wasting their time supporting any candidate other than RP. It'd be like hoping your team makes the playoffs after they've already been mathematically eliminated from contention.

IOW, our current "vote for only one" system really sucks, and if we had Approval Voting, people could vote for everyone they like they really want instead of doing this "vote for the lessor of two evils" / "wasted vote syndrome" crap.

And if it's not going to be Ron Paul, do we really care if it's Clinton or Giuliani? Will it make any difference?

If it ain't RP, then let's put the worst qualified in office. America deserves no less.

Republicans are moronic

Never underestimate the ability of the Democrats to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.

My objection is that I believe Rudy is a traitor for covering up 9-11. But David Rockefeller just endorsed Romney so I can't vote for him. And I can't vote for Thompson because he is in the CFR. Hillary and Edwards are out because they are both Bilderbergers. That leaves Obama whose campaign is run by liberal Jews. One of the first things I remember Obama saying after being elected Senator was why the U.S. should bomb Iran which is even more moronic than invading Iraq.

I want to leave the country. Maybe I will vote absentee for the Libertarians.

Ron Paul can beat Hillary in the general election, no other Republican has a ghost of a chance.

Paul vs. Clinton would be a lot of fun. I just hope the rank and file GOPers don't drop the ball.

The "rank and file" GOPers can piss up a rope, as far as I'm concerned. They've dropped the ball twice, now, and dropped it so hard our country is at risk of becoming the unrecognizeable police state they fetishize. They can serve a useful function by voting the right way, but that's about it.

This article is aimed at them, of course. Which is why so much of it is repetitive and simple. The author knows his audience.

It's 4th and 15 at their own 5 yard line. Two minute warning. Fourth quarter. Down by six. QB Ron Paul drops back to pass...

For me, Hillary, Rudy, Obama, McCain, Edwards, Romney are all out because... well...

They are not Ron Paul.

There is only ONE candidate running for president -- Ron Paul. All the others are running for emperor.

Why should I vote for 8 more years of Bush in the form of Giuliani?

If the GOP - the party that gave us George W. Bush - cannot field a candidate in 2008 that people want to vote for, then they deserve to take one in the ass. Serves them right. And I hope it hurts really bad.

Seems the best thing they can say about themselves is that Hillary is worse than their guy. I find this whine so annoying that I will automatically vote against them.

I agree. In the end, a country gets the politicians that it deserves. If voters and the party bosses can do no better than Hillary vs. Rudy, then let it come down.

That was what the last election was all about.

There was Bush up for re-election.
Then there was Kerry saying "I'll do everything Bush is currently doing, except I have better hair, am smarter, and will do it better."

Tough choice. Bush - or Bush with nice hair?

I voted for Badnarik.

America is not at war. The military is at war. America is at the mall and the Congress is out to lunch.
