Protester removed from Fred Thompson event

A protester questioned Thompson’s conservatism Wednesday.

HOUSTON, Texas (CNN) – A woman screaming “you’re not a real conservative, sir” was removed by police from a welcoming reception for likely GOP presidential candidate Fred Thompson Wednesday morning. A second protester was also taken from the room.

Houston police officers escorted the woman — as well as a man — from the hangar at Hobby Airport, where Thompson was shaking hands with a crowd of supporters. They were not arrested.

The woman questioned Thompson as he talked to reporters. She asked him why he was a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, and noted that the organization supported the North American Union with Canada and Mexico.

After the woman interrupted Thompson by questioning his conservative credentials, the likely candidate said, “Don’t fuss at me. You asked me a question. Let me answer it.” He told the woman, “I try to learn as much as I can from all viewpoints.”

Later, she shouted at Thompson as the news conference ended. Police officers took her outside a fenced area near the hangar, and stood with her until the former Tennessee senator departed.

This is from the protestor:

Houston911truth Confronts Fred Thompson and Greg Abbott, Attorney General of Texas

This morning at 9:45 PM Fred Thompson arrived at the Hobby Airport. The event was open to the public and all local news media were there. Special thanks to the people who flicked me off as I was being dragged out of the building.

Before Thompson entered the building I was able to ask the Attorney General of Texas, Greg Abbott, why he considers Fred Thompson a “front runner” and a conservative.

Apparently since he is “the most conservative pro-life politician in Texas” that means he supports Fred Thompson who is… not a pro-life conservative.

After asking Fred Thompson about his involvement with the Council on Foreign Relations I was pulled out of the building by the Houston Police Department. After the Houston Police took me outside I was told that I had been asked to leave once before by the TSA when that never took place, Rick who was with me a few feet back was pulled outside as I was still interviewing. Please ask yourselves why I was asked to leave when the other people asking questions were not. As I was being dragged out I asked about his 18 years as a lobbyist where he gained more than 1.3 million dollars. Not surprisingly, I did not receive an answer.

As soon as I was pulled out of the building by three armed policemen Senator Thompson left with his entourage.

There goes the first amendment!

How dare you step onto Texas soil and act as though you are unaware of your involvement with the Council on Foreign Relations, the North American Union and the Trans-Texas Corridor.

And just in case you are not fully aware as of yet, we are taking our country back. I am the daughter of a small business owner and a football coach, your facade of “tough Texas” talk does not ride well with me scumbag. You’re going to receive a lot more than just my fussing if you show your corrupt face back in my city.

To the press who were unfamiliar and continued to ask about what the Council on Foreign Relations is as I was being escorted off of the property, here you go:

What is the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR), Who is a Member and Why Should You Give a Damn?

To the cops who pulled me off the property, look at who you are working for! Figure out that you work to protect the people of America NOT THE POLITICIANS!!!

So much for the citizens. I confess I am over the top at this point, and I don't know who wouldn't be.

It is then, therefore, that I am perpetually pissed off.

If one could translate this statement in to grammatically perfect Latin, they would be a master of the preterite, conditional, infinitive, gerund, and userufruct (the last one is a joke, a legal term) use of Latin.

Police officers took her outside a fenced area near the hangar, and stood with her until the former Tennessee senator departed.

No they manhandled her even though she said she would leave. The cops made a bigger scene out of it than need be.

I love latin! my dad had degrees in greek and latin, and I grew up using and hearing a lot of phrses in both. we always said a latin grace before dinner.

one of my favorites was nulli adsunt Romanorum qui locutionem tuam corrigant - loosely translated - there are no romans around to correct your pronunciation. for that reason alone I took four years of latin in high school :)
