I was sick of IE7's limitations and bad try at imitating Firefox.. I uninstalled it and voila, ie6 was still on my machine.

Glad to hear your opinion. I'm happy(ier) at 6.0, so wouldn't make the change unless the bastards removed all else. And even then, I think I'd look at Linux or some such to change EVERYTHING, or nearly so.

Microsoft products are banned from my home, my business and my life. I won't touch anything by them. Got burned one time too often, and now I won't have anything to do with them in any way whatsoever. I've been using OS X since 10.1 and I love it. As the slogan goes, 'it just works'.
