Terror Cheese
Last week the Transportation Security Administration issued an intelligence bulletin warning airport security officers that terrorists may be conducting dry runs at airports here in the United States.
The bulletin comes after several items were intercepted at airports around the country that resemble components that could be used to make a bomb, suggesting someone may be testing security.
The warning cites "the unusual nature and increase" in items intercepted by security, for example, wires embedded in cheese, which has the consistency of some explosives.
A block of cheese with suspicious components was discovered at Mitchell International Airport in Milwaukee.
It's not unusual for passengers in Wisconsin to be packing cheese. But what TSA screeners found in this confiscated cheese was suspicious.
NBC News reports wires and an electrical switch were embedded in blocks of processed cheese.
In another situation a cell phone charger was found.
All are items that could be used to make a bomb.
A source confirms one of the cheese incidents happened in Milwaukee a month a half ago.
In fact there was another one a few days ago but that turned out to be completely harmless. "When you hear that they are using cheese to sneak things thru are you wondering how hard are they going to try to get this thru? They're obviously getting creative?" said airline passenger Brandon Ryan.
Frequent flyer Mark Vehslage says he is not surprised by the warning is nor alarmed.
"I don't worry about it I'm going to do what I've got to do and I just pray and trust God is going to protect me," said Vehslage.
TSA official are downplaying the bulletin saying there's no specific credible threat related to this information.

Listed to this, peoples: the cheese carrier was a 60+ yr. old all-American gal. She had her cheddar wrapped in an ice pack that leaked.
BE VERY, VERY, VERY AFRAID!!!! Or else. Cheese is sometimes more lethal than water.
