The TSA is going to take all the bridge rubble and try to rebuild it somewhere, to see if they can determine what caused the failure.
A person commented on CNN (I think it was a structural engineer), that he can not imagine, HOW, two ends of the bridge came down at the same time.
There was some jackhammer work on one side of the river, that might have contributed to 'vibrations', but, an investigation was needed to determine if the jackhammer work was specifically around, or close to, critical connectors (? bridge talk) that may have caused/contributed a span failure.

I have a couple questions. We have this video of the bridge collapse and it was seen and released already early today. In what, not even 12 hours?
Where after 6 years are the videos of the aircraft impact at the Pentagon that still haven't been released?
Where after 11 years are the videos of the bombing at OKC?
The NTSB said it was going to save and preserve EVERY piece of the bridge, and may reconstruct it.

NTSB already stated, don't expect an answer for at least a year.
So, how do we 'fix' with funding, that which we don't know caused the failure? Same experts that gave the bridge to 2020, going to be trusted with prioritizaion? There is not enough analysis at this point to fund anything. Especially when this bridge was 50 on the list, and not in 'imminent danger' of collapse.
