A little intellectual exercise is good for you.

Perhaps that is what terrifies you, having someone expose your own hates, biases and prejudices.

Don't worry about it, it is human nature, we all have them. Some wont admit to it but they are free with their criticism of others. Hate is the quickest human emotion to arise, and is often disguised by accusing others of hatred.
