No, Paul is wrong here. Gambling should be left for only gubmint to exploit and profit from. See- when gubmint sets up scratch ticket parlors (actual stores that exist only to sell scratch tickets complete with chest high little tables to do your scratching on - and then go and get more) that isn't bad or wrong. Nope- poor boobs spending half their paycheck on scratch tickets is fine because the gubmint posts a little sign in these stores with a number to gambler's anonymous. So it's ok.

But when Johnny Guido from the neighborhood books a few bets on football games- that is "racketeering". That's a 20 year sentence.

Nope- gambling is only ok if some grubby little DC politician can make some money by fleecing Indian Tribes.

God, I detest these parasites.

My favorite line from "Deadwood" was from the character "Walcott" who was a front man for the billionaire Hearst and also a psycho killer of women. After dealing with some grubby little territorial government representitive with his hand out for a bribe- Walcott says to himself over a drink:

"Lord knows I am a vile evil man given to the most depraved and degenerate of desires but . . . at least I am not a government man."
