Young Republican National Federation Chair Resigns After Sex Scandal

By: Logan Murphy @ 12:44 PM - PDT

murphyscreen2.jpg (h/t Howie at DWT for pic) Via Taking Down Words:

Former Clark County GOP Chair and newly elected Young Republican National Federation Chair Glenn Murphy is under investigation for criminal deviate conduct, a Class B felony, for allegedly engaging in oral sex with a sleeping victim. This is not his first run-in with the law for this kind of offense.Read the investigative report and a prior arrest for sexual battery in 1998 here: glennmurphy.pdf

WARNING: This is some pretty graphic stuff. Don’t let the kiddies read it.

UPDATE: Murphy recently sent an e-mail telling friends in Florida about his decision to resign from the YRNF position for business reasons. Read more…

According to the police report the alleged victim is a man. The warning above should definitely be heeded, the report is extremely graphic. Murphy (no relation to me) was considered to be a rising star in the Indiana GOP…

Maybe close to 2000 years ago St. Augustine made the observation the three greatest sins of Mankind were the lust for power, possessions and men's, women's and children's bodies.

In a word, politicians.

I saw this in the news earlier today. What is it with these Republicans?

As far as I can tell, the GOP is cursed by God. Hey, don't laugh right away ... it could be true!

Or maybe, come to think of it, it's fully bipartisan. Maybe God decided to send upon the "family values" phonies some kind of spirit of slurping the sausage ... and to the fraudulently "antiwar" and "civil liberties" party, a spirit of passing a new and expanded FISA law that retroactively and anticonstitutionally legalizes Bush's illegal snooping.

Its very strange.. I remember Larry Flynt saying when he had offered $$ for scandals that he expect the Democrats to be the ones that would have the sex issues but instead he found it was the Republicans.. you know a scripture comes to mind.. dont recall the exact wording.. but something like 'where the law is given sin will abound'.. well seems they are into rules rules rules.. pointing fingers etc.. so it shouldnt truly be surprising.. but on FISA .. so much for an opposition party..

Good thought. As you suggest, I don't find those exact words, but it's a very book-of-Romans idea, talked about most directly in chapter 7. It's the idea that sin gets more power over us because the Law names it and makes us aware of it.

You know, I seriously try to avoid blasphemy. That said, I think that if I were God, while both major-brand parties of thieves would tick me off, the Republicans would be annoying me more. they're the ones who can't quit jabbering about Him, while all the time going on with their murdering and stealing ... and their furtive sodomizing. I know both sides of the duopoly have co-opted His name often enough, but the Republicans have outperformed the Democrats in that department. Or so it seems to me.

ah.. chapter 7 the conflict ! But I think it's Rom.5:20.. but at any rate you get the idea..

Well not to get all biblical.. :P.. but the scripture God will not be mocked comes to mind.. so I dont think youre far off in what youre saying..

My new book has hit the streets and has already ignited a firestorm. Ed Brayton runs a site called Dispatches From the Culture Wars. Ed says this: “And you have to see this halfwit’s blog. He makes Ann Coulter sound like a voice of reason and moderation.” Thanks, Ed.

Here are some comments from Ed’s readers on my press release:

I just checked this guy’s blog ...whoohoo! Talk about paranoid personality disorder.

I would summarize his views like this: He considers Attila the Hun to have been too loose in his control of the Hun bureaucracy.

“ ... new book by a nut named Alan Stang, a radio talk show host ...”

I’d probably consider this just the work of a lone irrelevant nut if it weren’t for the endorsement of Paul Cameron. That seems to grant it a certain winger gravitas…

What is this guy’s obsession with the word “cloaca”. It must be the alternative sexual meaning that draws him to it. Oh, and $50 says that he’s gay. ______________________________

The book is Not Holier Than Thou: How Queer is Bush? There is a Special Section called Dick’s Dykes. The book reveals the enormous influence organized sodomy wields in the Republican Party, much of it arranged by el presidente Jorge W. Boosh. To see the press release that is creating all the furor, go to http://notholier.com. To order, click on STORE, and scroll down to the book.

Ed, this is great stuff. Please keep it coming. Oh, and by the way, my wife says to please send that fifty to her.

______________________________

Another site that condemns my new book is the Box Turtle Bulletin. Here is the slogan of that site: “Now you must raise your children up in a world where that union of man and box turtle is on the same legal footing as man and wife…”

You box turtles need to know that when I pointed out your slogan to my wife, mother of five, she screamed and said anything I say about you or call you is okay. And you normal readers need to remember this when our Communist media try to convince you my language is extreme.

Oh, that's easy. After a long, hard day of sucking corporate cock, they find themselves all worked up and needing to spend some time sucking real dick for a whie.

engaging in oral sex with a sleeping victim

That was the theme of last night's South Park.
