God is always good! Do people without an internet connection really vote based on the number of midless television commercials or signs they see in other people's yards? I doubt any amount of money we could raise would buy positve editorial spin in the MSM, we're competing with the big corporations for that segment, which is already biased when it comes to foreign policy anyway.

Hillary Clinton was leading the field with 624 kernels. The biggest battle was for second place, however. Republican Mitt Romney had 459 kernels - just two more than Democrat John Edwards. Earlier I posted that CNN's Bill Schneider had some positive things to say about the Ron Paul presence. Yes, the support is very strong and Romney far outspent any other candidate. I think they did TRY to rig that one also, to some extent, and that's why the Dems only have less than a 30-seat majority rather than the 60-vote one which would have been evident had the vote count been with paper ballots. Jeff is interviewing this Iowan, named Ryan, who was just driving by in his Iowa State t-shirt. He stopped to see what the media circus was about. Ryan said he's not really much into politics, but he ate a hot dog and listened to the speeches. Ryan said if Ron Paul is for shutting down 2/3 of the govt, he's for that. He's got his voting card, and is curious now about what is paid for and what is not.

Ron Paul said he spent ($200 per vote) 10 times less than Romney ( who spent $2200 per vote). Ron Paul campaign was in Iowa for one week, the others were there 3 weeks or more.
And Ron Paul said he is staying on message. He doesn't pander.
Romney is a non person in this campaign. Offers nothing except the same old refrain, more aid here there etc etc. For a bland non person to get over 4000 votes does not fit the vote amounts for the others. Zip..Of course, just perhaps the voters in Iowa are not too bright?

The thing here to remember on this evening is that the MESSAGE was heard...loud and proud it was heard...Ron Paul supporters were all over Fox news...they couldn't help it it was in their face! And if anyone who watched Justin TV as I did will note, the support was there and it was great....more people took notice today than they did yesterday! That was the entire point of him being there!!!! They did an amazing job...they didn't buy votes, and still had more supporters there and HAPPY with the end results than Romney whose supporters didn't look or sound happy after all was said and done!

The Romney people looked like bored fat cats with a dozen golfcarts. They and Brownbeck had buses to bring people in. Romney bought like 10,000 tickets. Romney's campaign far outspent any other. Ron Paul said, at the end of the day, $2200 per vote, is what Romney paid; as opposed to $200 per vote by the Paul campaign. All of the Romney people are paid staff, including a $200K PR person (according to MSM). That 200K was JUST for Ames. The other campaigns spent weeks in Iowa, Ron Paul's group was there one week.

Robin, This has been an incredible thread to read through. I think the final tally stinks to high heaven. Just like the last one, however, the enthusiasm grows and becomes more entrenched, as those participating at the event, can see the obvious complicity of the media fraud unfold before their eyes. Mine too. Those who have found Ron Paul, are not likely to swing to any other fake frontrunner, IMO. We know, he's our last chance. I heard a report this morning that Mitt brought his whole family, nearly 100 people, to bump his (GOP) 'family values' message. A point apparently to slam Rudy, however, why bother with Rudy?? So, was the family passing out cash to vote? Perhaps we should pass the word at meetup links to take the Mitt money, donate to Paul, and still pull the lever for Dr. No. Hehehe. There is no way Paul came in 5th, without the gargoyles buying votes, stuffing the ballot box, messing with the machines. Consiracy? Hell yes. Whether it's time to volunteer to be a poll worker or not, I don't know, but seems we need millions of eyes on the job at the polls. Many years ago when his Mexican father was in Washington, I tried to get a phone call thru to olde George. I got into his private office and talked with his personal secretary. When she said I could not speak with George, I asked if he were there and busy. She said yes he was there and not really busy BUT, he did not speak to just anyone. Yet his son wants MY vote? yes I did manage to get registered....I did it when Jeff went on break...was pretty easy to get in then. The first couple of times I tried I couldn't get it to work. It was a blast and thanks for letting me participate! I had so much fun watching and feeling as if we were all there. Texas and New Hampshire are going to be great too. It was nice to see the Roms asking questions about it and the puzzled looks on their faces at times was priceless...and the at the end Jeff asking them how they felt about it..I mean hell they won..and they weren't half as excited and happy as the RP people were! Priceless!
