Thomas Jefferson's Warning To America 5-21-5

"I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies. If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency, first by inflation, then by deflation, the banks and corporations that will grow up around [the banks] will deprive the people of all property until their children wake-up homeless on the continent their fathers conquered. The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people, to whom it properly belongs."

* Letter to the Secretary of the Treasury Albert Gallatin (1802) and later published in The Debate Over The Recharter Of The Bank Bill (1809)

Both the republicans and the democrats are completely opposed to everything that george washington, tom jefferson, sam adams, sam q adams and all the founding fathers believed. People who believe what the founding fathers believed are likely on terrorist watch lists today.

Back in the pre-revolution period of 1700 to 1750 all 13 colonies created their own money. Our history books speak of this system as backwards, but a close examination of it reveals why they bad-mouth it.

I grant you, we don't want 50 separate currencies, we have a 10'th ammendment for a reason. But I tell you that you are profoundly anti-American if you don't think there's something horribly wrong with how we do things today compared to how it was done in the pre-revolution period.

In the pre-revolution period all 13 colonies created their own money at no cost to the citizens. That is not done today, today the citizens are billed huge amunts of money for money-creation services that should cost zero.

Back in those days each colony would figure how much it wanted its money supply to increase and would print that much money. Then they would distribute this money in one of two ways. Some of it would be spent by the government to cover expenses, thus avoiding the need for taxation. Some of it would be lent out to the citizens for what was considered a worthwhile purpose. Such worthwhile purposes were building businesses and building homes. The money was paid back too or else the colony would forecose on the property. But the money was paid back WITH NO INTEREST. It cost nothing to create money in those days.

Compare that to the modern Americans and how it is done now. We authorized one privately held bank to create all the money. And we allow that one private bank to charge hefty interest fees for the service of creating money. Today the taxpayers are milked one billion dollars a day to pay for some of the money creation services done by the federal reserve. This is just the money they lent to the government. The interest the FR gets for money they lent to private banks is not counted in this one billion dollar a day figure. They take one billion dollars a day from the taxpayers just to pay for the lending they've done to our government. In pre-revolution days there was no charge for this service.

It is important to understand that when the federal reserve lends money to the US government the federal reserve does not actually have that money. The money is created by the act of lending it. Then they collect interest. We could find a less expensive means of creating money IF we cared about our people, our nation and IF our leaders were not corrupt pigs.
