committing murders in LA County.

For many years blacks used the excuses of deprivation, poverty, race hatred, bad childhood etc etc as excuses for criminal activity. One has to wonder if now perhaps they are getting a different view of personal crime.

If poverty caused crime, the US during the 1930s would have looked like Compton California. There was an increase in crime - desperation does that - but nothing like what you see in Watts, Compton or the SFV. But you do see Watts, Compton and SFV style crime and slaughter in Brazil, Mexico City and East Africa.

I lived thru the "Great Depression" on the lowest rung of the poverty ladder.

When people ask me my definition of poverty I can honestly answer them in one word, "hunger".
