Keith Oberman's "worst person in the world" segment: (go to 1:14)
Oberman:
"but our winner, Glenn Beck, talking about this PHONY issue of immigration reform which is code for hatred of mexicans.. welcomed a guest from the JBS- in fact actually said '"when i was growing up, the john birch society, i thought they were a bunch of nuts. however you guys are starting to make more and more sense to me".
A group that said FDR knew about pearl harbor in advance..the group that opposed the civil righs act and osha..giving back the panama canal. the group that called president eisnehower a communist.. is starting to make more and more sense to you? your first conclusion was right. if youre agreeing with them ,glenn, then you're now one of 'the bunch of nuts'. glenn beck todays worst person in the world.

immigration often degenerates into "hating Mexicans
You're right.
and I think we'd start hating Canadians if they came here and began filling up our emergency rooms, filling the welfare rolls, taking construction jobs, and forming deadly street gangs.
A Canadian street gang...now there's a spooky thought, eh?
Birchers were always anti-Communist, why are Jews attacking them?
Oh...never mind. :)

Don't know enough about the John Birch Society to know whether they're all nuts or not;
Not nuts at all, just shmeared from day one as such by our old friends in media, acedemia, and hollywood.

I never said Birchers wre wrong, just pointing out that vicious, Hoosier hating globalists hate JBS. For instance: :)
Ron Paul may have some qualities, but he's not a republican. More of a scary RINO Libertarian.

Last I heard, it was a guy named Vance Smith. My dad was in for years, in the speakers' bureau, a heavy contributor to Review of The News, and other things. Then he either left or was kicked out for being a poor "team Player".
I'd never even considered the existence of scary RINO libertarians before reading that post. Still sounds a bit far-fetched.
