I would like to second that notion! I am sick to death of all the pseudo-biblical mumbo-jumbo, black magic bullshit that has sprouted around the preposterous aberration of Israel.

.. for nearly 1800 years it was understood what the bible meant by the term 'jew' and 'Israel' in the NT .. then came along Cyrus Scofield and his ilk.. in the mid 1800s.. and the Scofield 'bible'.. here is a link to a very good book..not an easy read but it tells the story of Scofield and a lot of why we are where we are today..

It could also be invaluable if it awakened serious Christians to the facts necessary to halt the blind loyalty to Israel (completely based upon lies and biblical distortions) and thereby ended American participation in the mass murder of innocent Arabs.

I think the Christian support for the war "OF" terror, which is ISRAEL'S WAR, would evaporate if the notion of "Spiritual" Israel was better understood. The war would end if it weren't for misguided Christians blindly supporting a false Israel.

The claims made for the establishment of the State of Israel are PHYSICAL and based upon GENETICS that have never been proven, and in my opinion are biblically and historically impossible.

What we (Americans/Christians) and the Arabs are expected to accept is that a group of people (Ashkenazi) converted to Judaism in Eastern Europe 750 years after Christ and this act entitled them to displace the people already inhabiting Palestine. That would be like British Protestants converting to Catholicism and removing the Italians from Rome. While the "Israelis" might practice the religion of Judaism they are not Israelite descendants, they are gentiles, and have no genetic claim to the land.

Me too, but that doesn't mean it's not relevant. It is a bit difficult at first to undertsand why it's relevant but once one forces themself to study it ... the relevance becomes obvious. The problem with disputing it or even conversing about it is that one side usually hasn't studied it, doesn't want to study it, can't be blamed for not wanting to study it, but in the end can't honestly debate something they know nothing about. What surprises me the most is that the uninformed seem to get angry and refuse to learn the subject but are vehement about rejecting it as Mumbo-Jumbo / Black Magic bullshit !

I had a second thought that I wanted to relate to you about my own thoughts regarding the Bible.

As soon as I started trying to read it and all of the names were weird, and the geneology was detailed I started asking myself "what the fuck does this have to do with me today" ... that was about 40 years ago. About 25 years later after becoming more aware of history and scripture those same scriptures became exponentially more relevant especially when premier evil forces on the earth such as the Rothschilds and the UN are telling me the establishment of the State of Israel is Biblical prophecy fulfilled ... I asked myself what has evil to do with good ... the answer is NOTHING.

The geneology given in Genesis is laid down so that any interested party can read prohecy that was written much later that details Armageddon or the last days war and names the combatants. Interestingly, the people that falsely claim to be entitled to Israel and to be descendants of Abraham are actually named as the enemies of Israel and have no genetic connection to Abraham or the Israelites ... and Revelations 2:9 and Revelations 3:9 describes them perfectly.

It's pretty important because once you know that this whole notion of a "State of Israel" is completely fraudulent, and that they have no legitimate right to step foot on the soil, then you might begin to ask yourself why you would send your money or your kid to displace, dehumanize, terrorize and kill the Arabs for the Israelis.

We decry the violence, we abhor it, but what do we do about it ? If we're good little sheep we send the rotten to the core U.S. Govt our tax donation so we can assist them in killing some more people. We put bullshit flags on our car and honk twice for "w" ! We have to be the fucking dumbest collection of people that have ever disgraced the face of the earth.

What a paradox it truly is. Good people with good intentions (like taxpayers) are willing to blindly support the very people that intend to destroy them.

Hate Crime Laws, which ultimately will prevent complete disclosure of scripture especially that related to homosexuals, are primarily pushed by so-called Jews or Jewish organizations.

This is exactly why I quit participating, and never will again.

Have some patience and pay attention to scripture which tells us that a grand delusion will prevail, that those with eyes to see will see, ... look, people sometimes think that others espousing ideas foreign to those more commonly held by them, to be self-righteous assholes. I did that exact thing to a friend of mine that simply wanted to show me something that I immediately thought was contrary to everything I already believed, so I kicked him out of my car in the middle of the desert and called him an asshole. (I went back and got him). Later, I found out he was right in many ways. I apologized to him and began to study scriptures with a new key to understanding them that has NEVER failed.

I thought Zip's reply was a little terse/curt ... don't take it so personally ... nobody promised you a rose garden.

Revelation is an allegory.. when it speaks of Jerusalem .. it's speaking of the heavenly city is it not? Not a city of this world .. in the new covenant it's the city made up of God's people.. the names written in the Lamb's Book of Life.. not the city that is of this world.. a physical city..

Hi ATKHWDI ... I find this particular scripture extremely interesting because I think it could be directing us to know that there are two means by which Christ satisfies the "Law" ... which God can't violate or He ain't God, and at the same time affords Redemption to "his kin-folk" (Israelites) and Salvation to the entire world that is willing. Which allows all an opportunity to enter His Kingdom ... wherever it is located.

You may have already considered this, but humor me.

First he says [to raise up the tribes of Jacob,][and to restore the preserved of Israel] ... THIS SPEAKS TO the LAW OF REDEMPTION which requires a blood relative to suffer the penalty in the place of ANOTHER BLOOD RELATIVE. (These sorts of redemption laws have been a part of our own laws until fairly recently. Relatives (usually immediate family) were sometimes allowed to do the time for a father/brother/son etc., so that the penalty was paid while the actual perpetrator was able to plant/harvest crops etc.

1st. Raise up - like resurrect, in order to REDEEM the preserved of Israel Blood Relatives ...

2nd. for a light unto the Gentiles (Non-relatives) that thou mayest be my SALVATION (to whomsoever will)

I'm sure God knows what He's doing. He is the Universal Lawmaker, things like relativity and gravity are simplistic concepts that He has put into motion and they are never violated, which attests to his Law Making authority relative to nature. And we have some sense of these and continue to inquire about them.

Jesus said something to the effect of ... How can I show you heavenly things when you can't understand earthly things. I don't think many understand the totality of the Law as it relates to the blood sacrifice. And while many will allude to spiritual concepts making nearly everything simply something said with "Spiritual" meaning; it is often the last resort when not understood or appears inexplicable ... the Blood Sacrifice was real, the Law of Gravity is real, and our inability to comprehend God is also real.

(One must tip-toe around scriptures that describe peoples eyeballs melting in their sockets, and placing signs in the dirt reporting what appears to be radioactivity for 7 years. 200 million man armies prepared for war that hadn't existed at the time scriptures were written, or for that matter until recently.

The "preserved" of Israel are those who didn't 'bend the knee to Baal', iow, those who remained faithful to the word of God.

The Israelites were a MIXED MULTITUDE to begin with ....note that some of Jacob's wives were BONDWOMEN. They could have been Gentiles. They had even married into the Canaanites:
