I had an epiphany today that I would like to share concerning erectile dysfunction. First a little background information. I live in a small town deep in the heart of the the Baptist Bible belt. While shopping at the local grocery store today, I couldn't help but notice the number of extremely obese women walking around. As Burkeman1 would say, they were steaming "tubs of goo." This is not odd at all. I don't know if it's a Baptist thing or what, but it is quite common to see women pushing 400 pounds in this town. It's really quite disgusting. Anyway, I digress. When I came home I turned on the television and scrolled through the channels to see if there were any good movies on (there weren't). While doing this, I came across several erectile dysfunction commericals. Some talked about how their diabetes was the culprit, others about prostate trouble. Since the television viewing audience is constantly bombarded by these annoying commercials, I'm sure those of you who watch television know what I'm talking about. But once again, I digress. I don't know why it never occurred to me before, but it hit me full force today. While I am sure there are some men whose "E.D." is caused by medical issues, I would submit to the F4um family that the main cause of E.D., at least in this part of the country, is the 300+ lbs of fat-ass hanging off of the back of their wives body, not to mention the stomache and breasts that sag to their knees. THIS is the main cause of E.D. and I'm afraid that no amount of medicine will cure this problem. Only a two year membership to the nearest health club will fix this phenomena. Thank you for your time. We now return you to the previously scheduled program.

OMG! I'm so afraid that your grim prediction is accurate, and the horrors in store for us will shock many to death before they ever approach starvation. Most Americans have never been really hungry. It's hard to imagine but folks will eat the ass out of a dead skunk fried in tar to keep from starving. Even the Church granted absolution to the Uraguayan rugby players. They cut small strips from the buttocks of the less fortunate passengers and cooked them with matches before gagging them down. According to the Japanese cannibal Issei Sagawa, the breasts aren't really good eating. Good tip, Issei.

You aren't the only visionary who sees the wisdom in preparedness. Some folks bought surplus "C rats" but who can live on those? I mean survival is one thing, but if storage space isn't the priority then there are much better choices to improve the quality of the meals and therefore your life. Marine Sniper Carlos Hathcock would go out for 9 days at a stretch eating peanut butter and crackers. Well, that's fine but, try it for a month and you'll be ready to surrender to the enemy.
Hmmm...peanut butter and those nasty pilot bread crackers vs. thin strips of human buttocks...hmmmm. Think I'll go with the peanut butter on that one...
No argument here. If the survivors were anywhere but on a frozen Andes mountain they could have eaten something that was crawling, swimming or slithering nearby. That was a real tuff break.
