The only reason History Channel has this on, is because they have no control over the internet. And I think most of their audience can't watch videos or are too clueless to figure it out. They are a day and dime short.

History channel: The diesel fuel fueled the fires in WTC7. This has been previously proven false. I will post the links later. I notice they did not show the commonly called squibs associated with the collapse of WTC 7.
If that's the best the BIG MEDIA can come up with, then it's official: the 9-11 truth movement has already won. The History Channel of the future will forget that this sorry propaganda piece of theirs ever happened.

Well they said that wouldn't make a hit piece and they didn't. However, a simple white wash will do. The smugness of the Pop Mech crew was amusing. No Israelis were hurt (or reported) in the production of this piece...back to our regular programming of Hitler/Holocaust.
The History Channel repeatedly showed an animation of a 757 hitting the Pentagon. Did anyone else notice that the animation in no way represented the flight path required to skim the tree tops and knock down five light poles while flying less than 50 feet above irregular terrain?
Excellent point. Five Israeli intelligence assets setup to videotape the initial impact did not make it into the two hours, however, the producers had air time for the required, it's like "a knife stabbing me in my heart" every time some one wants answers to the most important questions of our lifetime. I cannot tell you how many times the government exploited the victims of the OKC bombing for the same purpose.
One of my favorite parts was when the narrator said: Norman Mineta stands by his statement.

I'm catching bits of it, and it really is made for people who have been living under a rock. At least the bits I'm seeing.

What I don't get, is if this attitude is "conspiracy theories are all silly, waste of time", then when the next History channel mysteries/conspiracy theory show is on, what are the core viewers going to think?

Hey - It occurs to me as of right now I may be able to physically PROVE a 757 did not crash into the pentagon. Due the the mass of the engines suppossedly accelerating into the interior of the plane. I'll get back to you, but I do have way too much on my plate in other areas.

The claim was the wings fell off or folded in, but then, the simulation shows the wings intact being shreded by the columns in the Pentagon. Also claims a round hot ball of fuel/gas, stayed intact, went through 6 walls, 3 rings, and left a nice neat round hole on the outer wall of the 3rd inner ring. LOL.

Yeah well, that works then. I am constantly reminded that many many people are anti "Islamic extremists" and think 911 was done by them. That applies to all muslims, as far as I can tell. So the channel plays well to the ignorant of which there are quite a few...probably the majority.

I would have liked to have seen some cross examination. The Pop Mech dorks always got the last word, and there was no opportunity to counter their claims.
The History Channel program itself noted that in 2002, 13% of Americans thought that the Bush administration knew about 9/11 in advance. In 2006, a poll showed that 36% believe not that the Bush admin "knew" about the attacks in advance, but that the government actually assisted in the attacks. Seems like the trend is going in the opposite direction of your claim.

Nothing is happening as a result. 9/11 "truth" isn't an issue for most Americans and it won't be an issue in next years election. People care more about health care and illegal immigration than 9/11 "truth."

Some polls have actually reported even higher levels of skepticism. But all polls and evidence show that skepticism about 9/11 is consistently growing with each passing year. Not really. I say the 9/11 "truth" movement has peaked and it's going nowhere. It's not a mainstream issue. It never will be. Even if these numbers are correct, there is NOTHING happening as a result. Street protests, websites, home-made "documentaries" are not producing any results.
