While Ron Paul gains more supporters every day, socialists and neocons criticize his lack of name recognition in land-line phone polling – yet at the same time groan about how fanatical and pervasive his supporters are... Something isn't right. There is honest disagreement, and then there is demagoguery.
Take also the neoconservatives in the mass (minded) media such as Faux News who attack and omit Dr. Paul. I understand they support the occupation of the Middle East but also believe government should be strictly limited in accordance with traditional conservative ideas (right? right???).
This isn't true. I have long read the dribblings of Neowhores. There is little more than snide asides about "small government" in their writings, speeches, and books. They are "Big government conservatives" and have said so repeatedly. Many have even openly mocked "small government" conservatives. They are champions of Executive dictatorship, perpetual war, a huge standing Military that itself resembles some sort of Maoist social experiment, and they are actively hostile to any notion of decentralized power away from DC.
Neocons are simply socialists who love military force and violence. They are fascists, as are most people who call themselves "conservatives" in this country- though they would take offense at the term.

Has anyone seen the 'Hillary vs. Paul' thread at FR? How can these people claim to be conservatives, and how can they claim they give a damn about the future of this country? Man...they DESERVE to have Hillary in the White House. Seriously. I am absolutely EMBARRASSED that I have voted for Republican candidates in the past...(mind you, it was Buchanan on several of those occasions...)

Just about everyone left on FR is of two types- party hacks, insiders, paid GOPER operatives for various GOPER personalities, and dumbs dumbs whose idea of "conservatism" was born out of watching Rambo movies and who equate love of the Post FDR Mega Military with being "right wing".
What I find amusing is that every reason they have for hating Hillary and Bill is just symbolic and cosmetic and personality based. They don't really differ with the Dems in the slightest. To the reich wingers of Free Republic- a Dem is a "surrender monkey" if they want to cut the trillion dollar scam war budget by 2 percent.
I don't spend anytime over there at all- that site is irrelevent. Its members dummies and rubes or just cynical hacks. They approach issues from nowhere near reality thus pretty much every comment they make is worthless. They offer zero insight into how DC actually works.

I joined FReakville in 1998 and stayed many years because of old friends, most of whom have left or been thrown out. A few years ago it finally dawned on me that someone was paying the bills, so I started setting out bait and I hit the jackpot.
