he's been quite ill with stomach cancer. aaron had gone to germany for treatment and was improving for a time, but then began to decline again several months ago.

As of late July 2006, Aaron Russo's biography on his website for the film stated: "The film is an exposé of the Internal Revenue Service, and proves conclusively there is no law requiring an American citizen to pay a direct unapportioned Tax on their labor."

Rest in Peace Mr. Russo, it's well deserved. He demonstrated love, strength and honor until the end. He will be missed but not forgotten, and has shown a bright light on the enemies of freedom. It's not often that someone of his stature steps into the fray and challenges the powers that be so boldly, rather than join them.
