Ten amazing body-modded people
Deputy Dog posted an intriguing list of ten people who have modified their bodies in some pretty intense ways. Several are familiar freaks previously seen on http://BMEzine.com or various TV shows, but seeing them all together is quite a treat. Seen here, from left, Rick Genest, Elaine Davidson, and Kala Kaiwi.

I really think these people need a few weeks lost in the Wyoming wilderness to get their perspective back to some sort of reality. The only guy I might like is Leopard man.
I second that thought. I think it's a shame to see even ONE POSITIVE reaction! A few other comments: Lastly, it really doesn't matter what any of us think but how will the Creator judge them?
Faked makes a lot of sense. I think atrophy would be a likely complication, and would probably be apparant in as little as 1 month. The photos could probably be electronically checked for alterations.

(1) Apparently the add/sub twins were an April's Fool joke (according to a comment from the website). THAT I can see - because I just CAN'T see someone having their damned arm amputated at the shoulder just to give it to someone else, nor someone wanting to carry around the weight or have an unusable thing like that just hanging from the side of their chest always getting "in the way"... I also noticed that there wasn't a picture of the "donor's" stub, nor a clear picture of either the "alien finger" or the "donor" finger. It would be relatively easy to "attach" a wax arm (or something similar) for a picture for an April Fool's prank...
(2) Deep down inside these folks have to have some sort of demonic/satanic desire. In the minds image of "the devil", you picture some of the shit these folks are emulating (split tongue for example - Satan was first represented in Scripture as a serpent). I definitely think they have a problem that goes beyond just an identity thing or getting attention. And the only positive attention they seem to get is from others like them.
(3) There are only 2 situations or places these folks are "accepted" - either in large cities, or in total isolation.
(4) One thing I like about these folks is that I know immediately upon seeing them that "that person ain't right"!
